Selina Kyle was married to an abusive man. After Kyle left him, she broke into the vault to get her jewelry back. Thrilled by the experience, Kyle became a literal cat burglar, Catwoman. She eventually crossed paths with Batman and decided to reform. Kyle even trained under various teachers including the Armless Master and Wildcat. Kyle and Bruce Wayne started an off and on romance over the years.
While supporting Wildcat's latest boxing challenge, Kyle and Wayne were part of a group held hostage by Captain Cold. Rather than act, they were saved by the Flash.
