As the Cold War continued, teenagers were faced with learning about the duality of power and responsibility through taking on the roles normally reserved for adults. Robin, Kid Flash and Aqualad encountered each other and teamed up to stop a common enemy, Mr. Twister. Shortly after, they met Wonder Girl who suggested the idea of a super hero team. With the inclusion of Speedy, the Teen Titans were born.
