Murasama Sengo, the legendary swordsmith, forged a samurai blade in the 14th century in Japan during a time of war. He named it The Soultaker. It was cursed with dark magic and had the power to steal the souls of its enemies. He left a way to free the souls. The owner of the sword had to say the incantation, "Gi. Yu. Jin. Rei. Makoto. Meiyo. Chugi. Jisei."
