Barbara Gordon got an idea to build an underground headquarters for the Super Hero Girls after Wonder Woman declared the team should celebrate every victory the Sweet Justice ice cream parlor. During the three months it took for Lexcorp Construction Services to rebuild Sweet Justice, Gordon made a few late night trips to the construction site to build the base. On the night of the grand opening, Gordon revealed the base to the team. Using switch hidden in a straw dispenser, the secret entrance under the booth was triggered. Wonder Woman declared it was a place of wonder. Jessica Cruz realized they could protect the whole city from there. Karen Beecher noticed the Daily Planet front page photo of the team up on a wall. The girls gathered at the base for the unveiling of the new Bumblebee suit. Bumblebee got annoyed that Gordon kept pointing out the new modifications made her look more like a bee. Lastly, Beecher tried the growth tech but it failed and she shrunk. Gordon reassured her they probably inverted the zeta component when they had to cross-wire the other thing because they were out of the other things then proposed a quick trip to the mall.

After Steve Trevor's first week at Metropolis High School, the girls settled at the base on Saturday and watched one of the Just Before Dusk movies. However, they soon realized Diana Prince was love sick over Trevor when she walked in wearing a blanket and looked pale then described how she couldn't eat or sleep and her stomach was full of butterflies. Danvers had enough of her crush and declared they were taking her out to get her mind off Trevor. The girls night out failed and she slipped into a delirious state. Gordon tried dousing her in water from an orange cooler but it had no affect. Danvers stated that's how she was going to be from now on. Gordon tried to continue with her Trevor-is-her-Kryptonite analogy but Danvers shut her down. Danvers shook and slapped Prince and reminded her she was an Amazon warrior and the literal symbol of female empowerment. Cruz told her she was entitled to her feelings and she should deal with it her way. Prince started talking out loud to Trevor saying she loved vanilla, too. Gordon suggested they take out Trevor. They all quickly agreed to the new plan.

The girls recovered from a day with Harleen Quinzel in the secret headquarters. Danvers was happy she couldn't feel pain for once. Zatara believed Gordon had to know it was a disaster. Gordon arrived and declared it was the best day ever and thought they loved Quinzel as much as she did. She even wanted to book activities a year in advance then changed it to five years then 50 then suggested they should all plan to die on the same day and have one big besties gravestone. She wanted to invite Quinzel into the headquarters. Prince did not find that prudent. Zatara agreed. Gordon was confused. Danvers quickly made up the excuse that there wasn't enough chairs and vaporized them, the couch, and bean bags with her heat vision. Gordon started to realize they didn't want to hang out with Quinzel. They tried to deny it but Gordon used the Lasso of Truth on them. They all thought Quinzel was the worst. Gordon gasped. Danvers realized she missed her and awkwardly joined the others. Gordon felt betrayed and un-friended them. She tried to exit up the chute but kept sliding back down. Zatara quietly stopped Beecher from intervening.

The Super Hero Girls watched the Metropolis Power Plant battle live on TV and were horrified to learn Supergirl was dead. They failed to notice Supergirl walk behind them to the refridgerator. The reporter continued to get facts wrong about Supergirl like her being Superman's kid sister but noted her acts of heroism were overshadowed by her emotional nature and hot temper. Clark Kent texted Supergirl and asked if she was dead. Supergirl replied "no" and he sent a thumbs up emoji. Zee Zatara wondered how they would go on. Jessica Cruz felt her spirit was with them. They heard Supergirl open a can of soda on the couch next to them. They all hugged her at the same time. The reporter interviewed one of the workers. He complained she threw turbine blades around and crashed into stuff and begged the question if she knew how expensive a power plant was. Supergirl was annoyed she tried to save him. Diana Price answered she did because she was Supergirl and was eager to clear the misconception of her death.

They were about to suit up when Supergirl stopped them. She felt Metropolis was better off without Supergirl and so was she. The others were shocked. Supergirl saw it as a fresh start and wanted to adopt a new superhero identity and costume. Zatara cast a makeover spell but Supergirl shot down every costume. After some time, the other girls lost interest and became listless. She finally settled on a blue, red, and white costume. Zatara wasn't impressed. Supergirl wanted to decide on a new attitude next and asked the girls what the one thing they would change about her. They lied and told her there was nothing they would. Supergirl asked Beecher. Beecher hesitantly told her she would change her "teeniest" anger problem. Supergirl thanked her for being honest. Gordon felt comfortable and got out her list. It rolled across the floor. She revealed she had a list like that for everyone then told Supergirl she was always late, cracked her knuckles, drooled when she slept, said things like "irregardless" and "supposedly," and mixed up her "theirs," "there's," and "they'res" but before she could continue, Supergirl grabbed her by the collar.

Supergirl paused and told Gordon the old her would have knocked her out but the new her wasn't going there but spelled out "their." The next task was a new name. But she rejected them all. Cruz made a recycle bin construct for all the rejected ideas. Zatara thought Likeable Lass had excellent superhero alliteration. Beecher again suggested Power Girl. Prince thought Good Girl was very clear in meaning. Beecher insisted Power Girl was pretty clear. Supergirl floated above her and wanted something with some oomph, some kick, and some girl power but not "Power Girl." Beecher was annoyed. Gordon what was wrong with Awesome Girl. Supergirl suddenly thought of her new name, "Powergirl." Beecher was livid and guessed she suggested "Power Girl" about ten times. Zatara hoped the new identity of Powergirl wouldn't go to Danvers' head. Powergirl's fame went to her head and she plastered the hideout with front pages and banners about her. The girls recuperated from a monster fight at the hideout. Powergirl threw self-branded water bottles to them with "Powergirl" replaced the "H" in water.

The other Super Hero Girls saw the episode of Helen where Powergirl declared teams overrated and were not pleased. Zee Zatara asked if anyone had Kryptonite. Beecher arrived in a panic and showed them a book written by Livewire, "How I Did It. Destroying Supergirl. A Memoir." Powergirl didn't care. But Beecher started reading and it quickly became apparent it was a biased and inaccurate account of events. Livewire even wrote Supergirl was a menace and needed to be taken down. Powergirl flinched but insisted she was better anyway. Prince shouted that was lie. Cruz told her Supergirl was a hero who did to help people, not become famous, and she didn't deserve to be treated like that. Cruz placed Supergirl's folded costume atop the book. Powergirl left to cut the ribbon at the grand reopening of the Metropolis Power Plant. Kara Danvers retired Powergirl and resigned herself to being hated by everyone again. Prince disagreed. The girls all hugged her at once. A power plant worker was interviewed. He sarcastically thanked Supergirl for leaving a giant mess and pleaded with Powergirl to come back. Danvers threw the table into the TV then yelled at Beecher she didn't have an anger problem.

The girls went to headquarters for hot sauce unaware that Casey Krinsky was posing as Zee Zatara. While Cruz used a hand construct to pour some hot sauce on Danvers' dish, Krinsky realized they were all of the Super Hero Girls. She gleefully activated her ability and stole everyone's. She took on aspects of everyone's costume into her form and stole all their powers then flew up through the street above and rampaged. After a battle on the pier with Moth-Monsters, the girls retreated to the headquarters. Gordon kicked herself for leaving the Burrito Bucket wrapper for Lois Lane to find. Beecher asked if anyone thought they should do something about the Moth-Monsters that kept showing up. Danvers told her to remember their priorities. She threw her bench press bar into the ceiling then switched to curls and asked what they should do about Lane. Gordon asked Zatara if there was a spell to erase her memory. Zatara realized there was but she didn't know it and it was super hard to cast.

Danvers got an idea. Cruz told her not every problem could be solved by punching it into space. Danvers rescinded. Diana popped up from behind the couch and was resolute about facing the problem directly. Danvers perked up. Diana told her the plan was more cunning than a space punch. At some point, others like Hal Jordan, Barry Allen, and Garth Bernstein were made privy of the hideout. A viewing of a Just Before Dusk movie by Gordon, Prince, Cruz, Zatara, Bernstein, Jordan, and Allen was interrupted by Danvers. She blocked the TV while she explained she was finally going to get to see the League of Shadows perform live and at a secret show at the Lazarus Pit. She shook Allen, broke the table in two, and totally hyped the League. Jordan had no clue who Ra's Al Ghul was. Danvers retorted he didn't have any real taste. Everyone noticed Beecher was listening to music on her phone. She paused and took out her headphones then asked them if they heard Up Past 8's latest hit.

Everyone stared. Jordan teased her for listening to the boy band despite the fact she was their target age of 14. Beecher explained why she liked them and revealed he had two tickets to their concert the next night. She asked who wanted to go with her. They all turned back to the TV and Zatara turned it back on with a finger snap. Danvers admired her interest in music. Beecher thought she was saying she would go to the concert with her. Danvers presented her tickets and declared she was going to see the League with her, after a make over. The next day, Jordan and Bernstein played the Just Before Dusk video game. Jordan wanted to skip the cut scene but Berstein insisted they were essential to advancing the story. Jordan used Kaitlyn to easily drain Alexandra's health meter. Cruz worked on protest posters. Zatara played cards. Gordon monitored Kite Man. Prince studied. Bernstein protested Jordan's strategy was counter to the character. Beecher returned to the hideout. Jordan was amused by her new look and called her "Karen Danvers." Cruz mused she had fun.

Beecher was sullen and went to listen to music on her phone. It was set on a League song. She tossed her rock garb and switched to an Up Past 8 song. Danvers, now under Ra's Al Ghul's mind control, slid in so hard she destroyed the bed at the base. She yelled the concert was the bomb into Gordon's microphone so loud that Kite Man and his buyer noticed and disabled a camera. Then she kicked green paint all over Cruz's posters, slapped Zatara's cards into Up Past 8 posters, used super breath on Prince and swatter her book to the ground, stole Allen's chips, and stepped on the video game console. They all stared at her. Danvers was upset with their lack of a sense of humor and flew up through the ceiling. Beecher asked if Danvers was acting a little different than usual. Nobody else saw it. Beecher realized her tickets were gone. Jordan teased they probably spontaneously combusted from sheer lameness. Cruz slapped the back of his head. Beecher gasped and wondered if Danvers stole them. Everyone laughed at her theory. She left and followed Danvers to the Up Past 8 concert.

Tatsu Yamashiro reached out to Diana Prince for help with a haunting but she wasn't around to answer it. Yamashiro sent a text saying she needed her help. Barbara Gordon paused from welding a gadget and yelled out a phone was buzzing. Kara Danvers identified it as Prince's phone but she wasn't present. Gordon groaned and checked it. She was intrigued by the text and asked Danvers if she wanted to do something "fun." Floating up above while riffing on her guitar, Danvers' interest was piqued. The girls recuperated in the hideout after a night out with Wonder Woman's aunt, Antiope. Antiope was still amped and wanted to go get breakfast. She dug around in the fridge while Prince pointed out they had no more time to study for their finals. She told her aunt to leave and stop interfering with their schooling. Antiope realized how she sounded like her mother. Prince gasped. The tension was interrupted by a city-wide rumble caused by the arrival of a Kraken.

In the secret base, the girls commenced spring cleaning. Cruz pointed out it was Gordon's idea and she wasn't even around to help. The lights suddenly shut off and the base was covered in smoke. Prince demanded the intruder show themselves. Batgirl perched atop the refrigerator and practiced her Batman voice but she coughed before she could finish. She had switched her suit to one matching Batman's color scheme. She couldn't hold her excitement and told everyone Batman asked her to help him catch the Riddler. Danvers only handed her a plunger. Batgirl remembered it was time for spring cleaning but dug in her chest for a piece of equipment she wanted to use for the bust. The others were not pleased. Batgirl apologized and told them it was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and a dream come true. Prince spoke for everyone and told her they would never stand against her dream. Batgirl cut her off, rushed off, and told them to leave something for her to clean.

Batgirl later returned to the base with news. Prince asked if it was the secret to removing blueberry stains from the couch. Batgirl announced Batman was seriously ticked off with Robin and asked her to be his new sidekick. She mused she might even have to move back to Gotham City. Beecher asked if that meant she was leaving the team. Batgirl realized she was but tried to sugarcoat it was leaving the team for the foreseeable future. She reminded them she had been working her whole life to become Batman's sidekick and asked them if they could be a little happy for her. They did a group hug. Danvers was ready to let go but Batgirl believed her Bat-Glue might have leaked. Beecher worked on her suit but needed help circumventing the nova matrix again. She called out to Gordon by mistake. Cruz had a hard time coming up with a slogan to protect the Blue Iguana for the Metropolis Iguana Project and lamented Gordon was so good at them.

Wonder Woman returned to the base and declared they had to fight on without Batgirl so she took it upon herself to find a hero to fill the void. She believed she found someone with the same levity, exuberance, and zest for life as Batgirl: Katana. Katana quietly stood behind them, made them jump, and promised she would hold each of them to the same unattainable standards she held herself to. Everyone fell short of Katana's standards so she quit after the first mission. Green Lantern liked her but she as a little intense. She presented the slogan Katana made for the Iguana Project, "Save the Iguana or perish by my blade." Supergirl presented Bizarro Supergirl as her choice for the team. Bumblebee tried to be friendly but forgot the opposite nature of her. She interpreted Bumblebee's words as wanting to be enemies and chased her around. Bumblebee iced her head and stated Bizarro wasn't a great idea. Supergirl noted that. Wonder Woman concluded it was foolish of them to believe they could replace Batgirl.

Catwoman made her presence known. She dodged the question of how she found the base as they processed her desire to join the team. Catwoman lied she came to respect all they did for Metropolis and she was inspired. Wonder Woman asked her for time to consider her offer. She obliged them then noticed Cruz's sign. She suggested "I wanna save the Iguana." Lantern nodded. Catwoman left. Lantern was giddy. Zatanna couldn't believe she was saying it but didn't think it was such a bad idea. They soon realized Catwoman pilfered the base right under their nose. Lantern's paintbrush was gone, Bumblebee's wrench set was gone, Zatanna's costume jewelry was gone, and the S-shield on Supergirl's costume was absent. Batgirl returned for supplies. They hugged. She noticed Bumblebee's gauntlet was on fire. Bumblebee admitted she asked Bizarro Supergirl for help fixing the proto-oscillator. Batgirl put it out with an extinguisher and pointed out the obvious. She noticed Katana's slogan and realized they were replacing her. Supergirl tried to sugarcoat it with Batgirl's own words earlier. Batgirl tried to hide her reaction and told them it was totally okay. Batgirl noticed a bunch of her stuff was missing.

After getting Robin back in Batman's good graces and rejoining the team, Batgirl sulked with mint chocolate chip ice cream but admitted it was good to be home. She had a group hug with the girls and rushed off to switch back to classic purple but realized her cowl was missing. She began to suspect they really did get robbed. The others slinked away. Danvers brought Bizarro Supergirl to the base and explained she wanted her to pretend to be her and act like every gadget Jeremiah Danvers pitched to Ted Kord was totally killer. Bizarro understood she had to kill the rich dork. Danvers told her to just be normal. Bizarro understood but wanted a favor in return and whispered her demand to Danvers. She wanted to go to an Up Past 8 concert. As tensions mounted, Gordon returned to the secret base late because Danvers left the gas tank empty in H.E.R.O., the girls' car. Danvers had to spend money on air fresheners because Cruz hauled compost. Beecher pointed out someone could have said something if they hadn't agreed not to argue.

Prince suggested it was time to break their vow. They all agreed. Prince told Gordon her chart was preposterous, mainly because she to the car at 6 am on Sunday. Cruz thought that was better than 4 am on a Tuesday. Danvers pointed out she could use her ring to make any kind of vehicle she wanted. Cruz countered she could fly. Beecher thought they were both right then concluded it was her turn. Zatara pointed out she didn't have a license. Beecher thought it should still be her turn. Prince declared they were trading their schedules. Zatara wanted the car. Cruz did, too. Danvers had changed into Supergirl and flew off with the car but it eventually got destroyed. The girls chilled out in the secret base. Cruz came down the slide and announced Metropolis High just gave her approval to do a fundraiser for a cause near and dear to her heart, the Pit Roach. Danvers perked up and admitted that was her all-time favorite band. Cruz explained that she meat the Montisan Screeching Pit Roach, a new invasive species that just appeared in Metropolis. She presented a queen roach in a jar. Danvers' fear of bugs flared up.

Cruz continued that the city wanted to eradicate them but she was collecting them at her house to keep them safe. She wanted to build a Pit Roach Sanctuary in Metropolis Park. It was specifically designed to keep each roach separated. Danvers got paranoid the queen mouthed, "I will eat you." She dove behind an armchair and balled up. Prince shifted the conversation back to the fundraiser. Cruz revealed she was going to raise money by putting on a talent show and was hoping everyone would help out. Gordon volunteered to do a comedy act she and 'Lil Harleen used to do in Gotham City. Cruz asked Zatara to do a magic act. She added she could sing, dance, and act, too. She conjured a glamour shot. Cruz wanted Danvers to shred on her guitar, Beecher to run tech backstage, and for Diana Prince and Oliver Queen to sing a duet she wrote about the roaches as the finale. Prince stood and started a speech about how honored and privileged she was but Cruz cut to the chase. Prince agreed to do it but confessed she never sung before. Cruz was fully confident she would be amazing like anything else she did.

Cruz staged another intervention on Danvers and tricked her to come to the secret base for pizza. Cruz informed her there was no pizza and apologized for the chicanery. Danvers didn't know French and just wanted the food. Cruz clarified there was no food and she wanted to talk to her about her anger problem. Danvers tried to point out the only person who had a problem with her anger was Cruz. Cruz got out her phone and played a News 6 clip of Supergirl tossing a news van after the reporter called her "Girl Superman" by mistake. Cruz wanted her to come to her anger management support group. Danvers sarcastically asked if she should bring healing crystals or if the group would be providing them. Cruz had to play her last resort. She made an arm construct that reached into one of her drawers and pulled out a card. It was a birthday card from Danvers that was an IOU. Danvers conceded but she did not make much progress at the group. Cruz refused to give up on Danvers and her anger.

She looked through books for a solution. Zatara applied some nail polish and suggested she should just listen to what Danvers said about how she chose how to express her anger. Cruz got an idea to use the power of suggestion. Zatara was skeptical hypnosis would work and cautioned Cruz based on her experience. Danvers inquired what wasn't easy. Cruz took out a pocket watch and told Danvers she was getting very sleepy. Danvers was instantly hypnotized. Zatara stood corrected. Cruz told Danvers that whenever she encountered something irritating, she would see it as something adorable. On three, Cruz snapped her out of it then tested Danvers to see if it worked. She revealed she left her laundry in the washer last week and accidentally turned her favorite boots lime green, spruced up her room with a life-size cut out of Superman, replaced all her soda in the refrigerator with much healthier bean milk, and took away her jacket then put a burlap sack on her. Zatara got concerned and went to the pillow fort at her room. Instead of Cruz, Danvers saw a koala and tickled it.

After a monster attack on the city, Cruz and Danvers buried the hatchet over pizza in the base. Cruz promised to never interfere with how Danvers dealt with her emotions ever again. Danvers thought she went totally overboard but thought Cruz actually helped her. She pointed out Cruz was not in a hospital for being party to Danvers cuddling Mr. Chapin. She chalked it up as progress. Cruz was about to hug her but stopped. Danvers welcomed the hug but tried to steal Cruz's slice. Cruz knew it. Danvers apologized. In the base, Zatara made the others sing happy birthday to her until it was perfect. Danvers started to lose patience after the 50th time or so. Prince suggested it was time to move on to a different part of the festivities. Beecher wanted to do presents and gave Zatara a gift from everyone. Zatara half joked it was a bit small to be the pony she asked for. She hinted she knew her real gifts were coming the next day. The others were confused.

Zatara revealed the next day was her real birthday and this was just the pre-birthday. Prince didn't believe that was a thing. Gordon was scared they were going to have to do the same things over. Zatara revealed they were not, they were doing way more. She presented her Birthday Binder, activities and gift ideas in order from most expensive to even more expensive. She left it with the girls and went to get the second volume. Cruz admitted she loved Zatara but when it came to her birthday, she got a little crazy. Prince revealed on Themyscira, when someone exhibited that kind of behavior, they were put on a boat and made to row 500 miles with no food or water until they returned to their senses or died. Zatara overheard everything and teleported back to her place. The girls started watching a Just Before Dusk movie on Gordon's laptop in the secret base without Beecher. Taking her for granted lately, they mistook a teddy bear dressed up as a bee next to them on the couch as her. Beecher looked up from her station and realized they were watching the movie. She got upset they thought the bear was her. Prince placated her by nothing it was because they were both so adorable.

Beecher accepted that excuse and tried to finish up her task but she couldn't find her nano-oscillation scope. Without it, she couldn't shut down the nano-oscillator and thus the whole neogenic generator would burn it. It did. Danvers assured her it would pop up. Beecher was grossed out Danvers was using the scope as a toothpick. Danvers advised her not to make something that looked like a toothpick. Prince told her to have more respect for Beecher's belongings. Beecher held back and said it was okay. A future version of Beecher named NightSting emerged from a honeycomb portal. She claimed there was no time to identify herself because the world was at stake. Danvers charged her but was immobilized with a bola equipped with Kryptonite. She then used her right gauntlet to vacuum up Cruz's power ring and shot a gag over Zatara's mouth. Gordon threw Batarangs but they bounced off NightSting's force field and pinned her to a wall. Prince ordered her to stand down. NightSting rolled several small spheres her away. They projected a prison around Prince.

The figure approached Beecher and revealed her identity. Gordon realized she was a time traveler and bombarded her with time machine questions. NightSting picked her up and tossed her aside. She projected clips from Just Before Dusk 17 and lied that was the current state of her era and her younger self could change that. NightSting hinted at the Butterfly Effect in which even the smallest events now can have tremendous effects on the future. NightSting repeated she didn't have much time and revealed her Chronocrystal only could keep her in their timeline for a few moments. She started to tell Beecher something of hers was taken and its absence sets off a chain of events that destroys her world and it must be recovered within the next 60 minutes or the future could not be altered. Gordon barged in and asked even more questions in a frenzy and clung to her. NightSting was shunted back to the future. Zatara commented she was really mad at Beecher even though she technically didn't do anything yet. Beecher tried to apologize but cut to the chase and asked who took anything of hers. They all looked at Danvers.

Danvers played innocent but she was still using the scope like a toothpick. Beecher revealed she kept a list of things that Danvers borrowed from her. It was very, very long. Danvers had no idea what a thermetrix drive was. Beecher pointed to her bench press. Danvers realized it was the thing she used to prop up a leg because the press was wobbly. She also took one of her devices to use as a game controller after she chucked the original into the wall. She used an exotic power source to super charge her phone battery. About 21 minutes later, a very big pile of everything Danvers took was amassed, including a basketball. Prince hoped the exercise showed Danvers she should ask before she took something. Danvers retorted she hoped it would prevent the apocalypse then pointed out the fact she wasn't the only one to take something. Beecher pointed out Gordon was eating her granola bar, Cruz was eating her banana, and Zatara was eating her sandwich. Zatara pointed out the search was taking forever and they were all getting peckish. She added it was all Gordon's idea to steal her lunch.

Everything Beecher kept bottled up erupted and she yelled at them for not respecting her or her stuff. Zatara pointed out the doomsday object likely wasn't in her lunch. Beecher exclaimed that didn't help. Gordon speculated they broke Beecher. With 15 minutes and 23 seconds left, Beecher fumed about being treated like a pushover. Prince felt she could stand to be more assertive. Beecher decided to take a crack at fixing everyone's personalities. She told Zatara to use her book to cast a spell of humility, Cruz shares all her opinions, Gordon talked too much, Danvers never learned anything, and Prince could be a little more thoughtful. She noticed a basket on the couch. It was a swag bag the girls made for her. It had all her favorites: caramel popcorn, all-day jack smashers, and root beer. She apologized and told them they were the best friends she ever had. Danvers told her it was okay to vent. Beecher realized she was holding a lot in. Danvers apologized for taking advantage of her lately. Zatara advised her to just say something right away.

NightSting returned and revealed she staged a ruse to get Beecher to learn to be more assertive at an earlier point in her life so she could become an even more take-charge and even less nonsense hero. NightSting regretted learning assertiveness so late in her life. She saw no point in living spending an entire life as a pushover. Danvers brought up the apocalypse. NightSting told them it was from Just Before Dusk 17: A Doomsday Affair and admitted the franchise went in some strange directions. Zatara exclaimed no spoilers. Beecher asked about the 60 minute countdown. NightSting revealed that was just for drama and was happy with the results. Gordon advised Beecher to let out the rage monster one more time. Beecher told off NightSting and declared she would never grow up to be a jerk like her. NightSting ceased to exist and vanished from the timeline. The girls started up the movie back from the beginning.

Gordon and Danvers posted articles about their exploits on a cork board in the secret base. Gordon was pleased they were getting the visibility respect they deserved. Danvers revealed she even heard someone called Superman, "Boy Supergirl." Gordon sighed. Danvers inquired why. Gordon assured her it was nothing but then noted it was weird Supergirl was in the center of the photographs but she was in the background. She reversed herself and said it didn't matter. Danvers told her it did but then noted most of the headlines read "Batgirl and Supergirl" when "Supergirl and Batgirl" read better. Cruz closed her book and warned them about getting carried away and putting fame in front of doing the right thing or each other. Gordon and Danvers were distracted by a call from their new PR agent, Max Lord. Lord informed them it was now time to capitalize on their brand. They let their egos get in the way. They soon made amends and not to every let Cruz know she was right then saved Lord from Giganta. They posted up the Daily Planet article "Supergirl and Batgirl Save Some Guy, Destroy Beloved Moofy Statue." Cruz read it with suspicion. Danvers conceded it at least led with her name first. Cruz grunted.

Karen Beecher worked on her iozonic casing but it was totally shot. A replacement was more money than she currently had. Without, her Bumblebee armor couldn't function. Gordon proposed she work with her at Burrito Bucket. Beecher wasn't so sure because she didn't like burritos. Gordon promised her it was the fastest way to get her money. Beecher was skeptical she could get hired. Gordon promised her boss loved her and she was pretty much guaranteed a job. For five days, Prince was catatonic on the couch in the secret base because of the A-minus she got. Beecher wondered if she was still breathing. Danvers refused to check her because she hadn't brushed her teeth in those five days. The girls tried to cheer her up. Cruz went with breathing exercises to help her re-center and refocus. Prince sighed and a fly flew out of her mouth. Danvers punched her Superman dummy but Prince was still listless. Gordon put on her party hat and threw confetti around. She got no response either. Zatara gave her a makeover but Prince's tears made the mascara run. Zatara declared the plan wasn't working.

Beecher pointed out the real problem was Prince stretching herself too thin. She told Prince on Themyscira she only had to focus on being a warrior but in Metropolis, she was also a superhero, student, team leader, and volunteered in countless things like soup kitchens and tutoring. Beecher presented a chart to better illustrate the dilemma. Gordon skimmed and realized she was also bathing Ace and Krypto. Danvers realized that must have been why Krypto stopped smelling like sardines. Prince awkwardly got up and thanked her then proclaimed she would spread herself even thicker. She believed Beecher streamlined each of her duties for her so she would never reek of failure. Beecher tried to tell her the chart was to show her how maxed out she was. Prince hinted she wouldn't be for long. She wrote out a message on a scroll for Themsycira then sent it for a sacred fruit called the Mystical Fruit of Hermes for boundless energy.

A week or so later, Prince did bench press reps while brushing up on Pablo Neruda and reciting pi to its hundredth place. Beecher tried to confront her on acting differently lately but Prince misunderstood and thanked her for the chart. She admitted she was never so productive. Beecher pointed out a lot of people would be happy with an A-minus. Prince stated she had to hold herself to a higher standard. Beecher asked why. Prince had no answer and shifted to squat cross, Shakespeare, and the citation of the periodic table of elements, starting with Hydrogen. Tired of the chart, the girls came up with a plan. Danvers proposed they swipe the chart when Prince wasn't looking. Cruz felt that since Prince was the most rational among them, they should jut share their concerns with both love and respect then she would hand over the chart willingly. Prince perched atop the refrigerator and hissed at the girls like a cat. Cruz admitted Prince was more obstinate than she thought then quickly shifted to Danvers' plan. Bumblebee shrunk and got the drop on Prince. She flew out of the base and Sweet Justice with the chart.

Prince was in a blind rage, still annoyed with Harleen Quinzel, and sharpened her sword in the secret base with a whetstone. She needed another one and borrowed Gordon's, completely unaware she took the Bat-ear. It wasn't until Cruz arrived and noticed she was still upset. The tip of the ear broke off. Cruz asked the obvious question of why would Gordon have a whetstone and why she didn't seen the special display table for "Batman's Ear." Prince was steadfast in telling Gordon the truth. Cruz admitted she would agree but in this case, Gordon really loved that ear. They overheard her singing upstairs in Sweet Justice about how she loved the Bat-ear and she would lose it mentally whether it was lost was on purpose or done accidentally. Cruz told Prince that Gordon wouldn't be back in the base until 6 am tomorrow to watch her cartoons so she had 10 hours to find the replacement ear and made a construct that resembled a Batman clock. Prince wondered if such a thing existed. Cruz pointed out only one person would know. Quinzel.

Prince had the girls help clean up the secret base in anticipation of Hippolyta's visit. Cruz dusted, Gordon swept, and Zatara fluffed pillows. Prince scrubbed the same spot on the floor for hours. She was anxious. Gordon finally acknowledge Prince's feelings. She recalled one of Hippolyta's sayings, "It is not clean unless you have scrubbed until your fingers bleed." Beecher pushed down a box of awards down the slide and onto the mattress and stacked the second box on top. Prince zipped by and grabbed them while she was still leaning on them. Gordon caught her. Prince perfectly stacked her awards but became anal about it, prompting Beecher to yell out they look fine. Prince reminded everyone it was important for Hippolyta to approve of her life and everything must be perfect because she has high standards. Prince thought she saw a dust particle Zatara missed and scrubbed the floor very quickly. She went over the three S's: sit, smile, and do not speak unless spoken to. Zatara inquired about the elephant in the room, Kara Danvers.

Prince wasn't sure how to put it but didn't think Hippolyta would approve of her. Beecher answered "bluntness." Gordon answered "crassness." Zatara answered penchant for belching the alphabet. Prince revealed she sent Danvers on a wild goose chase to keep her preoccupied until she and Hippolyta left for the mother-daughter tour of the city. Prince dreamed of her mother finally telling her, "Diana, you are perfectly adequate." She could hear it. It turned out Hippolyta was already in the base. She immediately dressed it down noting if her warrior command post was in a basement, she would keep it a secret, too. Danvers returned with a wild goose. Gordon realized Prince sent Danvers on a literal wild goose chase. Danvers named it Hank because its honks sounded like "hank" instead. It honked in Hippolyta's face then ran away. Prince frantically wiped Hank's feathers off her then introduced Supergirl. Danvers held out her hand to shake. Prince told her she didn't shake. Hippolyta chose to do a warrior's embrace.

They both grunted and noted the other had quite a grip. Nobody noticed little green flames leave Prince's body. Hippolyta noted Supergirl had a warrior's mettle and the name was fitting. She told her to call her Kara. She declared she would. Danvers then decided to just call her "Polly." Prince was eager to start the mother-daughter tour. Hank chased Zatara while Gordon followed with a net. Hippolyta invited Danvers to join them. Hank scooped up Gordon in the net. Prince was mortified when Danvers accepted. Diana Prince's loud use of her abacus in the secret base disturbed Gordon and Cruz. Cruz pointed out her phone had a calculator. Prince chuckled and promised there was nothing their calculating device could do that her abacus could not. Gordon immediately challenged her to find the square root of 4096. Prince was about to set it to a thousand. Cruz used her phone and stated the answer was "64."

Prince admitted that was fast and tried her phone. She instead took an embarrassing selfie of herself and sent it to the entire school. Gordon and Cruz were amused and lied their laughter had nothing to do with her. Beecher blurted out the truth. Prince threw her phone down in anger but that somehow sent a voice recording of her to everyone. She grabbed her sword and slashed it in half. Everyone else was silent. Beecher completed her Molecular Amplifier and decided to use it to show Prince an example of how technology could do great things. Gordon got the side-eye when she asked if it worked on burritos. Beecher invited Prince to test it with her and promising seeing it work would make her feel better and get over her dislike of technology. Prince agreed. Beecher was relieved because she also wanted Prince's help moving it because it was super heavy, too.

Zee Zatara told Karen Beecher all about her father's date with their art teacher June Moone the night before. She thought it was a success and their handshake at the end implied "this is definitely going somewhere, so let's just shake for now." Beecher asked her if that meant she wasn't going to meddle anymore. Zatara promised she would after she sealed the deal. She cast a spell backwards and her father's red scarf from the date manifested. She wrapped it around a bouquet of flowers and told Beecher she noticed Moone admired the scarf so as the ultimate romantic gesture, she was going to plant it in Moone's classroom and when Moone found it, she would flip and completely fall in love with her father. Beecher tried to reason with her but Zatara cut her off and noted he did so much for her, it was the least she could do for him. Beecher had misgivings.

Barbara Gordon spent the night tinkering with new gadgets. She tried making a goo gun but it expelled gunk all over the cave. She thought of an improved Bat Grenade and tried it out on the fight dummy but she didn't like the foam. She tried a spray rocket but flew around out of control. Discouraged, Gordon left to dump the prototypes. Jessica Cruz and Diana Prince staged an intervention when Barbara Gordon's hoarding began cluttering the base up. Cruz told her it would be hard but she had a disease, hoarding. Gordon was concerned. Prince informed her they looked it up on the Internet. Gordon assumed it was true. They started going through the clutter for what to throw away. Gordon refused to throw away her night vision goggles, jet powered skates, Bat Shark Repellent, and cat brush. Cruz and Prince sighed then pointed to a pile of old food. Gordon determined it was fresh meat loaf but couldn't bring herself to taking a bite. She promised to clean up. Cruz and Prince were sucked up into a tube. Gordon felt better then sat down and watched TV.

Barbara Gordon and Karen Beecher moved a new couch found on a sidewalk into the hideout. They sat on the couch and Beecher turned on the TV to a news report. They realized they accidentally stole the couch. The owner, a woman, was upset and started wailing on one of the movers. Gordon wondered how they were going to get the couch up the slide. Barbara Gordon watched television in the headquarters. She switched from a "Just Before Dusk" to a 24/7 Live bulletin. The anchor reported a fire broke out at the Metropolis Pier. Gordon suited up.

Unable to stop a cloud eclipsing the sun over the city, Zatanna got an idea and took Bumblebee with her to the headquarters underneath Sweet Justice. She asked Bumblebee to make silica gel beads to suck out moisture with. She made several and enhanced them to suck moisture even faster. Prince called for a meeting at headquarters on Saturday. Zatara arrived last, ordered a mint chocolate chip cone and got it from Allen before she finished her sentence, then took the passage down. Zatara announced she figured out what her science project was going to be but was still available to help out. Prince revealed that was the subject of the meeting. Gordon revealed Sparrow's microchip was stolen after she left Burrito Bucket. Zatara was aghast she implied she stole it. Cruz pointed out nobody thought she did anything on purpose. Danvers interjected that things went wrong when she was around. Zatara claimed she wouldn't try to ruin anyone's project. She couldn't believe what she was hearing.

Beecher chimed in that she decided to go big and better and made a giant honeycomb display with real honey. Zatara was relieved. Prince stated her helping had to stop then flubbed one about the straw that broke the camel's back. Zatara was saddened to hear wasn't wanted and assured them she would never sabotage them then posited a set up. She looked to Beecher. Beecher told her it would just be until after the fair. Zatara heard enough and teleported out of the base. Danvers feigned relief it wasn't awkward.

After the girls satisfied Mr. Chapin with their presentations about the clubs they joined, they retired to the secret base. Batgirl was still amused with Catwoman trying to steal an ancient chamber pot. Wonder Woman and Batgirl got into a food fight. Green Lantern declared she was going to stick with the Debate Club. Supergirl revealed the Knitting Club was kind of relaxing after a long day of super heroics. She presented a scarf she knitted for Bumblebee when she was in her shrunken mode. Supergirl was keen on knitting a cape next. One morning, the Super Hero Girls retired to the secret base after breaking up a robbery at the Metropolis Boulevard of Cars lot. They got an alert on all their phones for the latest edition of the school paper. It blamed them for causing collateral damage at the car lot. Wonder Woman was not pleased and decided they needed to meet after school for extra training. Beecher pointed out she needed that time to study for midterms. Prince stressed they could not lose the confidence of the people of Metropolis.

On the night before the last day of midterms, Wonder Woman was stood up by Bumblebee so she went on patrol alone thinking she sneaked off to study. After failing to find Hal Jordan, Cruz took the booth down to the secret base. She was surprised to see everyone else and Katana already present and wondered if there was a new supervillain. She learned Steve Trevor uncharacteristically stood up Prince on a date. Danvers sulked Livewire bailed on her, to Beecher's confusion. Danvers clarified she had an extra ticket to the Blundie concert. Zee Zatara revealed she tried every incantation but her father was still missing. Beecher revealed Garth Bernstein was missing, too. Katana suspected it wasn't a coincidence and something sinister was happening. Danvers compared the situation to when Katana took their souls with the Soultaker. Katana was aghast. Danvers clarified she agreed the cause felt supernatural. Prince insisted they train in the meantime.

After Bumblebee secured the Mask of Dolos from Cheetah, the culprit, Tatsu Yamashiro tried to use the same ceremony she used on her Soultaker to release souls but it didn't work. Zee Zatara cast a spell demanding the release of the victims but that failed, too. After some encouragement from Katana, Wonder Woman to approach it scientifically and they went through a list of possible solutions. Ancient Greek incantations, old spells, a glass of water, taking it out for a walk, asking the mask to tell the truth with the Lasso of Truth, scanning it for signs of life, and using a magnet construct were all tried out but yielded no results. Katana reported that was their 472nd failed attempt. Batgirl picked up a crime alert at a Lexcorp construction site across town. Bumblebee recalled ancient artifacts were unearthed there. Wonder Woman believed Cheetah wouldn't resist trying to steal them.

After the girls defeated a giant robot cyclops, they celebrated their victory in the hideout with ice cream orders from Sweet Justice. Batgirl declared it was another totally awesome butt-kicking battle. Everyone raised their ice cream in unison. Supergirl added they were the best superhero team in all of Metropolis. Zatanna declared they were the best on the planet and levitated. Green Lantern added in the universe and all other universes. Bumblebee thought they were pretty great. Wonder Woman warned the others not to rest on their butt-kicking laurels and that they must always be prepared to fight. Batgirl turned on the TV just in time for Just Before Dusk. However, Control Freak from the Teen Titans Go! Universe appeared instead and zapped them with his remote control. They were teleported into his realm.
