Venom is a chemical concoction infamously used by the Gotham City supervillain Bane to enhance his strength. Which each successive use of Venom, Bane gets taller, bigger and stronger. After a prison break, he hid in Metropolis High School as Diego Dorrance, a substitue art teacher, and stole chemicals from the science lab to make more Venom. Commissioner Gordon and Batgirl fought him in a classroom. While he was distracted, Batgirl pulled his tube. Venom splashed all around the room and Bane returned to normal size.
