The Toyman Robot is a giant robot built by Toyman after his giant robot was defeated by Supergirl at Hob's Bay. After another Hob's Bay restoration project ceremony was crashed by Toyman's toy army, the Super Hero Girls decided to return to Old City and look for clues underground. They ran into Catwoman, who was looking for something to steal, near the northwest sector. They entered a room where the prototype Toyman Robot was being built. Toyman found them all so irritating. They recognized his voice from the battle with the giant robot. Toyman felt this robot had more potential and decided to use the girls as live targets for a performance test. The generators in the room activated and force fields formed around the girls and the robot. While contending with toy robots like Tina, Catwoman destroyed each generator. More toys like the bears George and William, soldiers like Chris, and dolls like Joliet attacked in waves in conjunction with the robot throwing objects. When Toyman tried to use the missle launcher in the chest, the girls attacked it to cause an overload then damaged the robot while it was temporarily down.
Eventually, the robot went offline. Toyman was annoyed but Wonder Woman snagged him with her Lasso of Truth just as Lex Luthor arrived with police officers. Luthor confiscated the robot and Toyman's suit. He tasked several Demo-Bots to deal with it back at Lexcorp tower. Toyman continued to work on it in secret and completed it while Lena Luthor attacked another restoration project ceremony. While the Super Hero Girls checked out the Bayfront Park the day before the grand event to celebrate the climax of the project, Toyman made a social media post on Superstapost to lure out the Super Hero Girls under the guise of an attack. After taking on several robots with the Super Villains, they learned through Superstapost that Toyman was rampaging in Old City. They chased Toyman underground but Poison Ivy and Livewire were uninterested in helping and Giganta was too big to go down. Luckily, Livewire couldn't stand Toyman getting more likes than her on Superstapost and found the girls underground. She used her electrical powers to open a locked door.
The girls fought hordes of toy robots as they pursued Toyman. Green Lantern and Poison Ivy came to their rescue and sealed up the remaining robots in their shipping containers in order to save plants from being hurt in the future. The two teams made a temporary alliance and found a set of stairs. They soon realized they were in the Lexcorp tower and the Toyman Robot activated. Lena Luthor revealed herself as one of the pilots and she was allied with Toyman all as part of a scheme to destroy Hob's Bay and rebuild it strictly for children. The girls attacked the robot's legs when the plates on it opened up to stun it then Ivy immobilized it with vines and the girls attacked the chest. With the laser cannon offline, Luthor and Toyman activated a barrier and used its missile launchers and arm cannons as well as the remains of the toy army. The girls lured the robot near the antenna where Green Lantern and Ivy waited to stun it. The girls attacked the head then the arm cannons. Zatanna used her magical hat to teleport Giganta to the battle. Giganta tackled the robot and the girls continued attacking the head and arm cannons. Even though the Toyman Robot was crippled, Toyman decided to still risk it and use the laser cannon. The robot blew up and ejected Luthor and Toyman. She threw a tantrum. Lex Luthor walked into the room and took her away to be punished by their parents. He ordered Toyman to come, too, then told the girls to hurry home.
