Karen Beecher continued to work on a way to make herself bigger through science. She completed her Molecular Amplifier in the Super Hero Girls' secret base and used it to show Diana Prince an example of how technology could do great things. Barbara Gordon got the side-eye when she asked if it worked on burritos. Beecher invited Prince to test it with her and promising seeing it work would make her feel better and get over her dislike of technology. Prince agreed. Beecher was relieved because she also wanted Prince's help moving it because it was super heavy, too. The junkyard used by the girls for training was selected as a safe testing site. Beecher tested it on herself and prompted Prince to push the blue button on the control panel to turn it on. Just in case, she left a yellow Post-It note pointing to the button. It initially worked and Beecher was a giant but she shrank. Beecher suspected she made a miscalculation in the induction matrix. To make matters worse, Bumblebee continued to shrink even further and her suit went offline as she escaped from the beak of a sparrow that mistook her for food.

Beecher instructed her to press the log button to access the terminal then re-code the compression core which would in turn recalibrate the C processor and she would be restored to normal. Prince asked where the log button was. Since Prince was currently without a phone to call Gordon with, she left to find a pre-formatted key drive at Hacker Helen's House of Hard Drives in the East Side. Prince returned with an E drive instead of an F drive and her headset ran out of power. After running a plug around the amplifier several times, she managed to plug it in and charge it. Without the right drive, Prince had to code the device herself before Beecher went subatomic. Prince steeled herself with words of encouragement from Beecher and entered "1," "2," and "3." The amplifier activated and Beecher was restored to normal. Prince frowned that was all she had to do. Beecher told her technology wasn't so scary after all. Prince pointed out the amplifier nearly reduced her to atoms. She picked up a rim and started bashing the amplifier. Beecher shrugged, grabbed a pipe, and joined in.
