Mr. Moofy the Mole is Metropolis's beloved animal mascot. Max Lord, PR agent, tipped Batgirl and Supergirl off about something big going down at the public unveiling of the Mr. Moofy sculpture at the city park. Kara Danvers and Babs Gordon waited among the crowd. Danvers hoped it wasn't another Superman statue. She said that as they stood near three of them. A police officer was in charge of the unveiling. First, she presented the actual Mr. Moofy the Mole and picked him up out of a cardboard box. Even Danvers was excited to see him. Gordon had no idea who Moofy was. Danvers informed her he was the cutest mascot in the city and everyone loved in the city loved him. People threw him flower bouquets and roses. The officer revealed the sculpture to cheers. Giganta crashed the unveiling and in exchange Max Lord secretly promised to make her an A-lister supervillain as long as she let Batgirl and Supergirl defeat her. Her steps cracked the sculpture and she grabbed Moofy.
Batgirl tied her up and Supergirl pulled the line. Giganta spun around like a tornado and fell to the ground. Moofy was tossed up high into the air. Batgirl slid into position and caught Moofy. The crowd cheered for Batgirl and Supergirl. A reported on scene couldn't believe the scoop she got and praised the heroes. They also made the front page of the Daily Planet. The sculpture was fixed. However, later in the week, Giganta was tossed by Supergirl from the top of the Daily Planet. She landed on the sculpture and crushed it to pieces. Giganta got what she wanted and was declared Metropolis's worst.
