Leslie Willis is the gossip at Metropolis High School. Taking the name Livewire, she can transform into pure electricity or project currents. Leslie Willis hung out with Doris Zeul on the track field outside Metropolis High School. Karen Beecher tried taking the extra extra long way to chemistry class to avoid Zeul but crossed paths anyway and got hit by her football. Zeul offered to take her to chemistry class. Zeul and Willis carried her into a locker room instead. Beecher pointed out they weren't in the science building. Zeul stated she irritated and bugged her like a puny little insect. Willis chimed in and told her Zeul squashed bugs. Zeul made Beecher hit herself. Beecher conceded it was very funny. Willis suggested she needed time alone to ponder how comedy works. Beecher knew what was going to happen and backed into a locker by herself. After school, Willis chatted with Zeul over laptops. She watched Zuel do a bench press in her parents' garage. Willis advised her to get new material instead of using "why are you hitting yourself?" Zeul thought it was a classic.

The barbell and bench broke to Willis' amusement. Zeul told her to shut it and closed her laptop. The next day, Zeul tried to hit Beecher with her football again. Willis and Zeul were surprised Beecher caught it. Livewire helped Harley Quinn with her plan to blow up the bridge. Harley called her "Sparky" and gave her a bomb to plant. Once the set up was done, Harley promised it was going to be 100 different kinds of fun. Bumblebee narrowly prevented Harley from detonating them. The other Super Hero Girls arrived. Wonder Woman lassoed Livewire and yanked her off her feet. Both teams regrouped then charged at each other. Willis let herself into the Journalism Club room and waited for Lois Lane to come. Willis claimed she had an idea that could save the Daily Planetoid and make it at least somewhat readable. Lane told her to make it fast because she had deadlines. Willis pitched a gossip column. Lane shot it down. Willis accused her of being worried it would upstage her puff pieces. She couldn't believe there was an article about Wonder Woman saving cats.

Lois Lane told her she had the spunk, gumption, and bravado needed for a great reporter, but gossip columns were too mean. She thought Willis was mean, too. Willis stormed out but stopped and took out her phone. She shot electricity at a socket on the sly. The current went up to Lane's laptop, startled her, and coffee spilled all over her. Willis took a photo and submitted it to Metropovids as #JavaJolt. She soon got followers into the thousands. Next, she turned on the lights and ruined a photo of Superman being developed in the photography lab. Olsen was crushed. Willis submitted it as #TrollinOlsen. Willis then closed the sliding doors on Barbara Minerva and she walked into it. She opened the doors then closed them on her again. Willis called it #Barbie@TheGates. She was up to five million followers. She then terrorized Barry Allen down the hallway. He was zapped and launched into a classroom doorway then called it #AllenWrenched. Garth Bernstein hesitated to dissect a starfish. Willis possessed it and jumped on Bernstein's face, calling it #RiseOfStarro.

Lane was laughed at in the halls. Willis mocked her about the gossip column. Lane reached for the door knob to Journalism Club but Willis zapped it. Lane was jolted and dropped her papers. Unaware of what really happened, everyone laughed at "Lois Lame." Willis went to Metropolis Plaza in search of her next photo. She sabotaged an elevator and it plummeted. Diana Prince happened to be returning broken sandals and stopped the elevator just in time. The crowd cheered but Willis pushed her way to Wonder Woman and accused her of ruining her shot. Wonder Woman realized she was the one behind the mean memes and told her they were mean in spirit. Willis apologized but Wonder Woman failed to sense her sarcasm. Willis promised an extra special announcement for the Super Hero Girls that night. Willis resigned from her channel and pretended to hand it over to new management. Livewire promised to supe things up and goaded the Super Hero Girls into trying to stop her. Prince's lap top blew up. She admitted it didn't go like she thought.

Supergirl and Livewire faced off in the city. Livewire drew electricity from a light pole but Supergirl shrugged off the blast. Livewire drew more electricity from a movie theater and blew Supergirl into the back of a garbage truck. Green Lantern formed a giant tire construct to defend against Livewire's attacks but she traveled from light to light into a man's cell phone. Livewire reappeared behind Lantern and drop kicked her. Livewire made a gif of it for the Metropovids website. Zatanna made a flashier entrance, coming out of a portal, than Livewire and drew more applause. Livewire fried her hair. One night, Livewire possessed Batgirl's moped and launched Batgirl into the street then chased after her. Bumblebee landed in the La France Boulevard intersection and her suit was possessed by Livewire. She was forced to do several corny dance moves. Willis hash tagged it #BeesDontDance and people thought it was the funniest video ever. Beecher cried in Prince's closet and refused to ever come out again.

After pranking all the girls but Wonder Woman individually, Livewire invited them to her most epic prank yet midnight at Glen Morgan Square. Prince was amused she dared to challenge them. The others sighed wearily. On prank night at Glen Morgan Square, Livewire projected her past memes of the Super Hero Girls. She called Supergirl's costume a recycled outfit, asserted Batgirl still needed her training wheels, joked Green Lantern was the cause of greenhouse gasses, asked the audience who wore it better: Zatanna or porcupines, and reminded everyone bees couldn't dance. Livewire called out Wonder Woman. Wonder Woman was shocked the others wouldn't come out. She implored them to believe in people's humanity, they were good and would never laugh at true suffering. She walked to the stage alone then declared Livewire's reign of cruelty and humiliation had reached its end. Livewire countered it had just begun. Wonder Woman leaped at her. Livewire blew a kiss of electricity and knocked her sword away.

Wonder Woman still charged but was knocked off her feet. Everyone laughed. Livewire called her Blunder Woman and pointed out everyone loved mean then called her a joke. Livewire drew electricity from a light and blasted Wonder Woman. The people gasped. Wonder Woman was blown off the stage into the street. Livewire drew even more electricity and fired. Supergirl landed in front of Wonder Woman and took the hit. The other Super Hero Girls joined them and together, took on Livewire's attack together. Livewire unleashed a powerful attack that could be seen from the outskirts of the city. She was surprised everyone stopped laughing and prepared another attack but realized she ran out of power. The people laughed at her and snapped photos, giving her a taste of her own medicine. Livewire grabbed Lois Lane's phone, leaped inside, and left a parting message they haven't seen the last of her. Undaunted, Lane deleted it.

All of Livewire's followers left her. She noticed an anonymous post with a link and realized her "shockateers" joined the Super Hero Girls' channel. Wonder Woman trended for breaking the internet. Tons of photos of them saving cats garnered 50 million followers to Willis' dismay. Willis joined Selina Kyle's crew. During lunch, Diana Prince observed how Selina Kyle had acquired several friends: Doris Zeul, Leslie Willis, Carol Ferris, and Pamela Isley. They shared conspiratorial looks with each other then Zeul tripped Garth Bernstein as he walked past their table. They all laughed. Harleen Quinzel met them after she moved to Metropolis. They went out on a drive to knock mail boxes off their stands just for fun. It ended with them showing Quinzel they were super villains. She turn revealed she was Harley Quinn. They went on a crime spree. Livewire took out the security camera in a jewelry store and jump started a car at Metropolis Auto Town. Giganta, Livewire, Star Sapphire, Catwoman, Harley Quinn, and Poison Ivy ate at a high class restaurant then caused mayhem.

The Super Hero Girls intervened after the villains drove past Sweet Justice and unknowingly called them nerds. Zatanna and Livewire fired at each other. Zatanna and Green Lantern were later back to back using shields to defend against Sapphire and Livewire until Harley left a bomb. Zatanna and Livewire were at a stalemate until Harley Quinn used the Lasso of Truth to capture the Super Hero Girls. After they escaped, Livewire blasted at Wonder Woman until Catwoman called for a retreat when police arrived. Livewire took part in Harley's idea to blow up a bridge. Livewire's soul was taken by Katana. The Super Hero Girls found her body along with Ivy and Sapphire. She and the other villains were stored in Barbara Gordon's bedroom for safe keeping. It was made to look like they were doing make overs during a slumber party. Commissioner Gordon fell for it. Katana later saw the error of her ways and freed every soul. The other Super Hero Girls came to in Gordon's bedroom but were face to face with the six bewildered villains. Catwoman stated they would never speak of it again. Everyone agreed.

Barbara Gordon farted during a morning assembly and went into a fetal position. Leslie Willis stood up in the back of the auditorium and pinned the fart on her. Everyone laughed at her. Willis snickered with Carol Ferris and Pamela Isley at Sweet Justice. After a long series of attempts to change the past with Flash's powers, they had to undo it to prevent the end of civiliation. Gordon once again farted. Before Willis could out her, Gordon stood and declared she did it and they were all welcome. Livewire and Supergirl battled at the Metropolis Power Plant one night. Livewire told Supergirl to give it up because the spotlight belonged to her. Supergirl rose above the roof of a building on site and threw a turbine blade at her. She shape shifted into electricity and dodged the attack. Four plant workers braced themselves. Supergirl checked on them but was zapped into a tower. Livewire laughed at her expense. Supergirl grabbed a girder and swatted Livewire away. She tapped into two conduits and powered up.

Livewire flew up into the clouds screaming and unleashed a massive electric blast at Supergirl, leaving a deep crater. The workers took off their hard hats out of respect. Livewire concluded she killed Supergirl and celebrated. A news reporter from 24/7 was live from the plant but erroneously called Supergirl, "Superman Girl." Livewire popped out of his microphone and called herself the Kryptoninan Krusher. Livewire wrote a book titled "How I Did It. Destroying Supergirl. A Memoir." It was a biased and inaccurate account of events. Livewire even wrote Supergirl was a menace and needed to be taken down. Livewire interrupted the reopening at the plant. Declaring herself a best selling author, Livewire admitted she hankered for a new car and was going to write a new sequel. She balanced on a power line then teleported to the conduits to power up again. She flew up to the clouds and fired on Powergirl, creating another huge crater. Livewire gloated she was two for two and Powergirl was just as much a loser as Supergirl was.

Powergirl remembered Cruz's words about how Supergirl was a hero. Livewire admitted she kinda missed "Stupidgirl." Supergirl got her attention. Livewire was shocked and fired. Supergirl dodged. Then Powergirl taunted her that haters didn't matter. She dodged a blast. Supergirl added haters didn't know you. Powergirl stated only "you know you." Supergirl declared she was a hero and clocked Livewire into the crater. Police took her into custody. Mr. Chapin proctored the Friday Home Ec class. Not knowing anything about Home Ec, he looked online and picked an egg challenge because it was the first thing he saw. He gave the class the task of keeping the egg safe until Monday and assigned pairs. Willis was paired with Tatsu Yamashiro. Yamashiro got defensive around Willis. Willis put her hand out to shake. Yamashiro shook her hand but realized the egg was in Willis' palm and it broke. Willis was amused with her prank.

Livewire hot wired a sports car stolen by Harley. They were driven around by Catwoman. The trio happened to speed past the Metropolis DMV where Diana Prince was starting her road test. Prince could not resist and chased after them. She was persistent. Catwoman couldn't believe they were still being chased. Livewire chimed in she should have said, "Are you kitten me?" Catwoman admitted she was right. As Catwoman drove through the Metropolis Pier, Harley snatched a cotton candy out of a man's hands. Prince passed and Beecher handed him some money and apologized. He was naturally shocked. Catwoman stated she was still better a driver. Livewire told her she should have said "Un-fur-tunately for her, I'm a better driver!" Catwoman barked at her to stop being a distraction. Livewire quipped she had such a cat-titude. Some time later, Prince caught up to them. Catwoman made a left on DeVries. Beecher told Prince to hurry and take a right on 17th since there was a new LexBucks being built on 23rd and causing traffic on Ninth. As Beecher predicted, the villains were stuck in traffic. Prince waited and waved at them. Catwoman was astonished and thought that was impossible. Livewire chimed she should have said "Im-paws-ible." Harley warned her but it was too late. They drove up a ramp and landed in a dumpster.

Leslie Willis was hired by Oswald Cobbelpot to put on a stage show spectacle when he gave his speech for the class president elections in the gym. She lit up the score board then later used electricity to make his surname in the air. However, he was running against Jessica Cruz. Cruz's commercial pushed her into lead. Cobblepot watched it on a laptop in his lair and couldn't believe he was losing to such a sap. He thought the stage show spectacle would seal the deal. Leslie Willis pointed out people trusted Cruz. He got an idea and wanted to use her talents once again. She replied it was about time. He clarified he wanted one of her specialty videos. Willis agreed to but reminded him she still needed to be paid for the stage show. The girls watched the video in shock as it painted Cruz as someone forcing vegetables on the school, doing the opposite of how Metropolis does everything big namely with the carbon footprints, and scheming to take everyone's freedoms away.

On the day of the election, Cobblepot tried to sway votes to him by staging an incident in which Livewire kidnapped Hammy. Cobblepot pretended to pummel Livewire then took back Hammy in triumph. Livewire listlessly played along. However, Cobblepot only paid her to take a fall and didn't pay her for everything else. He flipped Lane's microphone into her coffee cup and an errant bolt of electricity landed on Livewire's hair. Cruz quickly shot out constructs to protect the student body from Livewire's electricity as they cowered. She made an umbrella over two girls and a shield over a freshman girl. Livewire formed an unstable electrical field around Cobblepot, Lane, and Hammy as payback then fled the gym. Livewire took pleasure in sowing chaos and terror in Midtown Metropolis. Blue Beetle addressed her while using a garbage can to pose. He slipped a little. She asked him who he was and thought he said "Blue Beagle." He clarified it was "Beetle," which she found kinda lame. She invited him to do his worst. He went into eradication mode and fired all lasers. She easily shielded herself and electrocuted him on live television.

Even the reporter wondered who taught him to be a hero. She bashed him into a phone booth repeatedly. Livewire used her electricity to throw Beetle around like a yo-yo until Supergirl arrived and ordered her to put him down. Beetle was relieved at first and claimed he had the situation under control. Livewire made him dance. Beetle assured Supergirl he was a much better dancer. Livewire had him hit himself over and over. Supergirl chuckled but stopped herself and charged. Livewire kept moving Beetle in her way then started using his tech on her like a rocket thrust powered boxing glove, drill gun, and blasters. She asked Beetle if he still thought he was ready. He implored her to rub it in his face. She promised she totally planned to but admitted he was right about her needing to have more patience with him. He was moved and accepted her apology. She claimed she did no such thing and repeated he needed to cool his jets. Beetle got a brainstorm and came with a plan to defeat Livewire. Out of habit, she said no but then agreed to hear him out. He instructed her to punch him. She quickly complied. Livewire was amused.

Beetle revealed he wanted her to throw him at Livewire once his coolant tank cracked. She loved the plan. Once the Beetle Tech confirmed the coolant tank was compromised, Supergirl spun around at super speed and threw him into Livewire. She was frozen upon impact. Beetle was content. A police officer forced the frozen Livewire into the backseat of his squad car then departed with his partner.

Leslie Willis appeared behind Doris Zeul in the cafeteria and greeted her then teleported to the side of the vending machine. She zapped the machine and the Fudge Monster Caramel Crunch bar finally dropped down. They both reached for it and staked their claim on it. Both of their stomachs growled. Willis laughed then zapped Zeul. Zeul shoved her into a table. She zapped Zeul again while she reached in then reappeared atop the machine. Zeul challenged her to come down and fight. Willis blasted her then came down. Zeul had enough and transformed into Giganta, grabbed Willis, and threw her into a wall before she could make fun of her hair. Willis teleported to turn herself around and transformed into Livewire. They charged and leaped at each other. While the two fought, Selina Kyle walked past then doubled back and peeked inside. She went to the vending machine, saw the bar, ate it, and left without being noticed. Giganta and Livewire soon got tired and agreed to split the bar.

They saw an empty wrapper on the ground. Both of their stomachs growled again. Livewire accused her of eating it and playing a joke by asking them to split it. Giganta denied it. They got angry and fought each other some more. Kyle walked past the cafeteria outside, licking her fingers. Supergirl battled Livewire outside a theater. Jimmy Olsen tried to take a photo but Livewire blasted Supergirl then triggered a blackout. In a game of dodge ball, Willis went first in trying to hit Karen Beecher and ending the game but to her surprise, Beecher ducked. Beecher eventually won.

Barbara Gordon convinced Zee Zatara to make her the D.J. for the Metropolis High "Enchanted Evening" school dance instead of Leslie Willis in part because she was working on a new gadget that was a combination music player, laser light machine, and popcorn maker. Zatara cautiously agreed but warned her everything had to be perfect then broke the bad news to Willis. The night of, Gordon was about to start the slow dance but her gadget went on the fritz and zapped her away. Livewire appeared and took over D.J. duties. Gordon protested but a bunch of popcorn was shot in her mouth. Livewire used a special frequency to force everyone to keep dancing non-stop. Bernstein tried to dance his way to the exit but Livewire warned she had enough electricity flowing through the windows and doors to knock out the entire football team. Supergirl bumped Livewire off the stage. Teens danced out of her way. She stood up and stated her preference for the electric slide then zapped Supergirl.

Bumblebee was unable to stop dancing long enough to aim and shot her stingers all over. Green Lantern placed Bumblebee in a music box construct for her own protection. Batgirl asked Zatanna to create a distraction. Zatanna reveled at stealing the spotlight. She danced over to Livewire and hit her with a drop kick. Batgirl searched for some plugs. Wonder Woman grabbed Livewire's wrists and fired all over the gym. Supergirl flew teenagers out of the way. Wonder Woman twirled Livewire away. Green Lantern formed a tire construct around Livewire's waist. Batgirl pulled the plug on her gadget, ending the dance. Wonder Woman was disappointed it wasn't a typical teen dance experience. Batgirl assured her it was. Supergirl proposed they get ice cream after they rolled Livewire to the precinct. Livewire once grabbed Bumblebee by her wings and gave her a "shock to her system." After checking on a local generating station to figure out the cause of a black out at the Gordon household, Green Lantern encountered Livewire who made a joke about being grounded for touching house wiring. Lantern made tire constructs and used them to bind her.

The Super Villains raided the Metropolis Mega-Mart of TV sets but they were stopped by Supergirl. While the others scolded Supergirl for grandstanding, the villains escaped in Star Sapphire's car construct. They were unaware Lena Luthor wanted to join them. Barbara Gordon went to the Detective Club. At Detective Club, Leslie Willis announced they were acting out their latest mystery, "Murder on the Metropolis High Express!" Gordon rambled about loving mysteries and stopped after Willis glared at her. Since roles were already assigned, Gordon was made the conductor and told specifically it was a non-speaking role. Barry Allen overacted as the murder victim, Mr. Monday. A minute later, Willis was sure no one would figure out the culprit. She worked on the mystery for weeks. Gordon immediately deduced that Mr. Monday accidentally drank the drink with a poison ice cube meant for Mr. March. Willis kicked Gordon out. The Super Villains cased out the Metropolis Museum but Harley Quinn wanted to just rob it. Catwoman insisted the prize would arrive the next day.

Lena Luthor approached them in her new warsuit and wanted to be their associate. They weren't interested. She promised she could help them and demonstrated her rocket arms. Livewire thought it was cool at first. The rocket ricocheted off the sign and hit her. The next night, the Super Villains broke into the museum and made their way to the Grand Hall. Catwoman directed everyone to the new Egyptian Artifacts exhibit. Livewire was not impressed. Catwoman was ready to head out but Luthor found them. She took offense to being called a "little girl" and trapped them in a laser prison. After Zatanna turned Luthor's rubber ducks on her, the Super Villains tried to sneak out but the Super Hero Girls confronted them. On a typical Tuesday, Willis recorded her latest episode of Metropolis High Undercover with a selfie stick and asked Selina Kyle if she heard they use cat food to make the tacos for Taco Tuesday. She had no comment. At lunch, Willis asked Miss Beatty what the secret ingredients in the tacos were. She told Willis to swipe her card and go. Willis interpreted that as they were hiding something.

Bumblebee suspected Livewire as a possible source of a city-wide power outage that also crippled anything connected to the city's cloud system. The last location they checked was the Metropolis TV Station. By the time Batgirl traversed the stairs from the lobby to the roof, the other Super Hero Girls were in mid-battle against Livewire. Batgirl struggled to get a gadget from her belt then tripped. Green Lantern shielded her with a brick wall construct just in time. Batgirl refused to take cover downstairs and ran off to jam the tower. Supergirl scooped her up and put her in a safe spot but Batgirl refused to hide. Wonder Woman landed in front of her and blocked an electrical blast with her bracelets. Bumblebee was knocked out of her hands off the side of the roof. Everyone scrambled to catch her but her wings activated and she could fly again. Batgirl was scolded. Livewire tapped into the tower and projected herself in the city square's monitors. However, she surged out of control. Zatanna cast a spell that sent Batgirl back to her home.

Zatanna conjured a torrent of water out of her hat to short out the tower. Lantern guided the water with her ring into the satellite dish. Livewire emerged and was tied up with the Lasso of Truth. However, she revealed she wasn't behind the power outage and her powers were out of control since. Supergirl ran into Livewire outside the Lazarus Pit before she could buy a ticket for a Blundie concert. She refused to let her wreck the club because she was eager to go to Blundie's Heart of Sass live concert. Livewire revealed she loved Blundie, too. Supergirl suggested a temporary truce until after the concert. Livewire revealed she had an extra ticket because Giganta ghosted her all week and offered it to Supergirl. The night of, Livewire was nowhere to be seen. Supergirl used her X-ray vison and super hearing but learned Blundie was missing, too. The two were turned into Cheetah clones with the Mask of Dolos. Katana used her Soultaker sword to restore her to normal. Supergirl and Livewire fangirled over Blundie. The latter asked for an autograph and if she needed a roadie.

Several days after hacked Demo-Bots and the Giant Robot demolished Hob's Bay, Livewire appeared near Sweet Justice one night. The Super Hero Girls were nearby but Supergirl flew after her, right into live power lines. The photo of it went viral on Superstapost. The girls suspected Livewire was behind the hacked Demo-Bots. Days later, Livewire posted that she was going to demolish Sweet Justice and her special guest would be Supergirl. The Super Hero Girls waited that night and fought several Demo-Bots and a FireBot. Livewire later appeared and fought Supergirl. Running low on power, she used nearby poles to recharge. Supergirl knocked all the poles down then continued the fight, dodging her electrical strikes and electrical fields. Once she was defeated, the girls accused her of attacking Hob's. She admitted she only pretended to be behind the Hob's attack for more likes then she escaped into a pole. Livewire wasn't interested in the celebration about the climax of the restoration project at the Bayfront Park. Eventually, she couldn't stand Toyman getting more likes than her on Superstapost and found everyone under Old City. She came just in time to provide enough voltage to open a sealed door.
