Five days after the Weinwright Swamp battle, Nightwing returned to the Batcave in the evening after failing to locate Harley Quinn. Alfred Pennyworth greeted him first. Pennyworth noticed something was wrong and inquired. Nightwing claimed it was nothing and tried to ask Bruce Wayne something but was cut off with a "no." Nightwing tried to ask if he could take the Batmobile out but Wayne cut him off again with another "no." Nightwing took Pennyworth with him to the bar to blow off a bit of steam. When they entered, Two-Face was singing. Nightwing tried to ask Shrubby where Harley was but he had no reason to play nice. Catwoman's henchmen recognized him. A fight broke out. The bartender readied a shattered bottle but was kicked in the face by Nightwing. He leaped over the bar and drank. Batman arrived, took in the carnage, and stated he should have known better. Nightwing assured him it was taken care of. Batman asked where Pennyworth was so they could leave. Batman realized Pennyworth was singing "No Rain" and stated they would leave after he was done.
The next day, Mark Desmond ordered two shots of Espresso in the Bowery but the barista got it wrong and he was triggered. Desmond transformed into Blockbuster and went on a rampage, wrecking anything in sight. Batman found him and confirmed with Alfred Pennyworth to meet up. To make matters worse, Pennyworth had to wait for the needed serum to finish synthesizing and had to contend with traffic coming out of the Bowery. Luckily, Blockbuster fell into the river. Pennyworth arrived and dropped off the serum to suppress Blockbuster. Batman gave him an important letter to mail. Pennyworth noticed the post wasn't until Monday morning. He asked if it needed to arrive sooner. Batman confirmed and stated it was important. Pennyworth declared the Pennyworthmovile was ready for service.
