News on the DCAU originates from animation and comic book related news sites, personal staff forums, blogs, or comic book conventions. March 23, 2011: Warner Bros., DC Entertainment and Cartoon Network have teamed up to create DC Nation, a multi-platform block of exclusive branded original content. It is set for 2012, when Cartoon Network becomes the exclusive home for original DC animation properties. January 17, 2012: Kurtwood Smith is voicing James Gordon. Smith reveals the first two episodes were recorded before Christmas.
