They started work on this movie about two years ago, and originally pitched it as their "Guardians of the Galaxy," a more comedic movie compared to the other straight-forward films. Timm personally believes the movie is a continuation of Batman: TAS and the DCAU but clarifies he didn't go back through all the episodes to see if there are any contradictions. Kevin Michael Richardson never heard of Floronic Man before this. He talks about his approach to voicing this character. Timm finds Harley Quinn's popularity and evolution fascinating. He mentions he's put his own spin on various characters from the DC Universe, so he doesn't really mind seeing others' takes on a character he co-created. VenomAndCarnage YouTube 7:25-24:33
