Dr. Leland

Back to Supporting Cast Main > Dr. Leland

Real Identity: Dr. Leland
Affiliations: Arkham Asylum
Appearances (Comics): Harley Quinn and Batman (The Last Laugh Part 5)
Powers/Skills: Administration and Psychiatry
Voiced By: Not Applicable

One year after sabotaging the Joker's killer hot sauce scheme, Harley Quinn was brought before Arkham's board and asked to say in her own words what it meant to be sane. She answered it was an awareness of shared reality and a sense of responsibility for her choices and actions. She admitted she wasn't sure how large a percentage of the population that definition applied to. Dr. Leland noted she was a model patient for the past year, had no contact with past associates, and had no negative episodes even after she was taken off medications. The board concurred Harley's case represented a tremendous success for Arkham and Bartholomew revealed she was to be released at noon the next day.
