Superbabes is a superhero and supervillain themed sports bar and grill chain famous for meals served by scantily clad waitresses. The waiting staff are composed of attractive young women, who wear revealing outfits based on ones worn by various superheroes and supervillains and the decor also pays homage, including lighting based on Green Lantern's power battery. The menu includes a Power Girl Jumbo Combo, Black Canary Leg-and-Thigh with coleslaw, and Hawkgirl Spicy Hot Wings. Harley Quinn tried to go straight but had a difficult time finding a job that utilized her psychiatric training since she was a former costumed supervillain. She ended up as a waitress at a Gotham City Superbabes. She endured a lot of sexual harassment over a period of three months.

After failing to get any leads on Harley Quinn's location, Nightwing happened to pass by a Superbabes as he thought about getting a Reuben with extra kraut. He peeked inside and saw wait staff dressed like Power Girl, Catwoman, Supergirl, Batgirl, Big Barda, Vixen, Fire, Ice, Starfire, and Harley Quinn. The Harley waitress brought the orders to four men in a booth. One of the men reached under her skirt despite Harley's warning. She threw him to the floor and broke his arm. She turned the rest of the men and asked if there was anything else she could do for them. They all declined. The man complained to Chick, the proprietor. He continued stirring a pot and gestured to the Wonder Woman-themed warning sign "Look all you want but don't touch the girls." Nightwing was convinced the waitress was Harley Quinn. Harley ate some Hawkgirl Spicy Hot Wings after her shift then walked home. Nightwing tailed her but she was onto him.

Five days after the Weinwright Swamp battle, Batman and Nightwing captured Catwoman following a museum heist. Nightwing saw Superbabes across the street. Batman noticed he was quiet. Nightwing felt a little hungry and went into Superbabes alone. The wait staff on duty were dressed as Supergirl, Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn, and Hawkgirl. He mistook the Harley waitress for Harley but she didn't talk like her at all or use the word puddin' like she did. Nightwing was still disenchanted and decided to leave. The Harley waitress looked at his butt as he left. Five days later, Harley worked on her resume. She listed Superbabes in her work experience and put down "waitress/hostess/celebrity impersonator of myself. Sometimes bouncer" as her position.
