Two days after the Weinwright Swamp battle, Poison Ivy easily escaped her cell by exploiting a new orderly named Ken but Batman suspected as much and was already waiting for her. Instead of imprisoning her, he took her on a walk to uphold a promise to Harley Quinn to try and rehabilitate her. Ivy contended maybe she just wasn't committed enough or geniuses couldn't relate to other people. Batman conceded that was possible. Just as Mr. Freeze's dinner was brought to him, Batman suggested they lose the thing that connects them to everyone else.
