Jimmy Olsen is a photographer with the Daily Planet and one of the few who goes along with Lois Lane. At some point, Olsen acquired a special Superman Wrist Watch designed to emit an ultrasonic frequency to alert Superman he needed rescuing. Lane later had Olsen use it to make contact with Supergirl, an act he came to relish.
