Steve Lombard is a former athlete turned sports editor at the Daily Planet. Lombard is known around the staff for his being too macho and belitting others he doesn't deem tough like him. He came up with a theory Clark Kent was homosexual because he was always so secretive and in good shape despite not playing sports.
