Real Identity: Oliver Jonas "Ollie" Queen

After his parents' death, Oliver Queen inherited their multi-billion dollar manufacturing company. Queen lived the good life and played up a playboy image. During a cruise on the South Seas, he was knocked overboard and awoke stranded on Starfish Island. In order to survive, Queen crafted a crude bow and arrow until he was rescued.
After returning to Star City, he quickly returned to the social scene and attended a party. Would-be robbers crashed the party. Queen wore a Robin Hood costume and stopped the robbers. Dissatisfied and restless, he became a costumed crimefighter named Green Arrow.
While stopping a robbery, Green Arrow caught a glimpse of the Centre on television and decided to lend his aid. Arrow piloted his Arrow Plane and fought off the first wave of monsters. Before the battle, he continued to expand his desire to do good and adopted Roy Harper, who would become his sidekick Speedy.
