For unknown reasons, one man decided to become a villain that hates everything else. He used his race's history of slavery as justification for attempting to illegally carve out his own kingdom, a nation of his creation. Because of this, he doesn't have to justify his methods whether they were simple theft to brutal acts of violence. He put on a helmet and became Black Manta, based off of black manta rays. Black Manta frequents islands located in the Pacific Ocean and hunts for lost treasures to fuel his empire. Armed with laser technology and his own submarine, the Black Manta constantly battle Aquaman for the wealth contained within Atlantis.
