New Metropolis University is a collegiate institution located in Metropolis. Firestorm arrived just in time for a dedication ceremony for the university's Science Building and settled on a hill above campus grounds. To Professor Stein's disdain, he learned the guest of honor and newest faculty member was Dr. Michael Holt, also known as Mr. Terrific, and his former roomate in college. The Science Building was renamed the Mr. Terrific Research Center and was to serve as the new home for his T-Spheres and as a place for young minds to revolutionize science like he did a few years ago. Calculator revealed his presence in the crowd and hacked the T-Spheres. Now in control of them, Calculator directed them to attack Terrific and the Research Center. They blasted the Research Center hologram then burrowed into the building. Terrific took two youths to a safe distance but a second slab fell. Firestorm transmutated it into a bunch of marshmallows. Terrific was unable to get close to Calculator. The T-Spheres gathered and carried Calculator away.
