Super Laughing Gas is a highly potent version of the Joker's patent laughing gas. He armed a Gutbuster bomb with 50,000 tons of Super Laughing Gas and threatened to unleash it on Gotham City at midnight. Batman discovered the Gutbuster's location the a clock tower with five minutes left but he was couldn't disable it in time. The Flash, on a roof across from the tower, spun his arms and generated two tornadoes that pushed the gas back to the tower. Superman flew in and inhaled all of the gas then flew into space. He exhaled all of the gas into Mongul's space crusier, leaving Mongul and his warriors in a fit of laughter.
