The Mega Rod is the main weapon of Big Barda and excels in blunt short range strikes. The Mega Rod's usual striking force proved no match for Virman Vunderbar's Kinetic Force Shield but Batman deduced the shield could redirect kinetic energy but not steady pressure. Barda gently tapped the shield on the side and launched Virman into an alley. Granny Goodness also uses a Mega Rod. Hers can emit a beam that can move victims around through psychokinetic gestures and can generate a shockwave capable of knocking others off balance when she strikes the ground.
