The Hero Tracker is a GPS device worn by Superman and the Flash during a charity race organized by Bruce Wayne. For the convenience of the viewing audience, the Trackers would show them real-time progress of Superman and Flash as they streaked across the planet. They were secretly rigged by Lex Luthor and Chronos to send an energy signal, during the race, to the newly invented Time Suit. It tapped into the Speed Force more than Chronos predicted. Batman later created software that reprogrammed Superman's Hero Tracker to sends its energy signal directly to Flash's. With the added power, Flash was able to vibrate his molecules through Luthor's time-wall around S.T.A.R. Labs and stop him from taking over the world's missile systems.
