The Cosmic Staff is a hi-tech staff currently used by Stargirl. It has the capacity to grant various abilities to its user such as flight, psychokinetic manipulation, energy manipulation, defensive force fields, and energy blasts. Stargirl also rides the staff through the air like a surfboard or seated on it. When not in use, the staff can retract and can be easily stored in a backpack. While practicing for her Space Driver's License, Stargirl handed the Cosmic Staff to Space Cabbie and directed him to fire at the engines of Zilius Zox's gteaway vehicle. Since it was just a construct, Cabbie fired at Zox and knocked his power ring off. Stargirl took back the staff and blasted the ring away before it could fly back onto Zox's finger.
