Klarion the Witch Boy used the Magdalene Grimoire to open a portal in front of him to take in a Batarang thrown at him by Batman. A tentacle emerged and grabbed Batman. He chopped the tentacle but more emerged from the portal and grabbed him and Constantine. The beast partly appeared out of the portal. After Stargirl got the grimoire to Constantine, Batman threw some Bat Bombs into its mouth. It released them. As Klarion prepared to retaliate against Constantine for punching him, the beast latched onto his arm and pulled. Constantine cast a spell to pull the beast back to its own dimension and seal the portal. Teekl was unable to pull Klarion free and they both went through the portal with the beast.
