Demon Dogs are giant ferocious dogs who, like Parademons, patrol parts of Apokolips. Upon their arrival, Batman and Big Barda encountered a Demon Dog. As it charged them, Barda advised Batman to get behind him but Batman clicked a pouch on the left side of his belt and emitted a sonic pulse. The dog rolled over and heeled. Batman leaned into the dog and said, "Boo." The Demon Dog ran away.
