Boss Kack is an intergalactic mob boss. Mister Mind once took out a loan from Kack to cover his latest conquest. When Kack came looking for his money, Mind opted to try and blow him up instead. Kack survived and placed a bounty on his head. Lobo returned with half of Mind's body. Boss Kack had it analyzed and confirmed it was Mind and asked where the rest of him was. Lobo didn't see the point and demanded his payment. Kack snapped his fingers and his floating drones set their laser sights on Lobo. Kack informed him that worms like Mister Mind were capable of regeneration.
