The Golden Dragon is a paramilitary organization located on the planet Jayd and is led by Kentor Omoto. It appears to focus on the martial arts and preaches honor above all else. The Golden Dragon met its match against the Khunds. Many perished before a Green Lantern arrived. Even then, the Lantern fell. Omoto's daughter, Laira, was chosen as the next. The Corps was summoned and defeated the Khunds.
Omoto sought to regain his honor and made the Golden Dragon more pro-active against their enemies. As a result, the organization became more authoritative and hostile. Jayd became an outlaw world was the Corps sent Laira Omoto to investigate further. She defeated the Ree'Yu, her brother Rubyn Omoto, and father. The remaining forces submitted to her authority.
