The editor-in-chief of the Daily Planet, Perry White, went on spring vacation and left Ron Troupe in charge until he returned. Perry White returned from his vacation after the hostage situation with Plastique and Deadshot was resolved and demanded to know what happened. Jimmy Olsen confessed he let Mayor Sackett talk him into publishing things that weren't true. Ron Troupe took responsibility for all the damage. Lois Lane presented a correction with the first part of the real story about S.T.A.R. Labs. She introduced herself. White was impressed with her reporting and asked if she ever considered working for the Daily Planet. She confessed it may have crossed her mind.
