(Novels only) Petey Boggs is one of three finalists who applied for the assistant job Poison Ivy posted. Boggs, Jason Woodrue, and Karena Tisk had to pass a written test, a plant problem, and worst-case scenario. Boggs did well on the written test but made the mistake of spreading fertilizer on the cactus garden. Boggs saw the supervillain Firefly heading towards Ivy's mega greenhouse. He screamed and ran outside.
