Brian is a prison guard stationed at the Belle Reve Penitentiary. He often gave Big Barda extra mashed potatoes with her meals. During Spring Break, Lashina broke into Belle Reve in an attempt to free the other Female Furies. She tied up Brian in an office and affixed an Agony Matrix on him. Frost and Katana decided to let Barda help them disable the matrix before it activated in two minutes. Brian promised to give them as many potatoes they wanted. Barda managed to disable it in time. She, Katana, and Brian ran to the breach. Lashina was forced to retreat. Later in the summer, Brian was on patrol when he saw the Female Furies escape and return home to Apokolips through a Boom Tube.
