Aphrodite is the Greek goddess of love and sister of Wonder Woman. She was one of Zeus' children who agreed to spend the summer with him on Mount Olympus. During dinner, she spoke of a woman who died of a broken heart and found it romantic. After Ares arrived, she inquired if he had any stories of starcrossed lovers. Zeus tried to claim he gave the idea for the Trojan Horse but Aphrodite disagreed and stated it was Odysseus. Zeus declared it was in his kingdom so it was his idea. She sighed. For sisters' summer book club, Aphrodite gave Wonder Woman her favorites to read, including "Pride and Prejudice", "Wuthering Heights", and "Gone With The Wind" and couldn't wait to discuss. For family game day, Aphrodite played her harp and sung to try and lure out the Chimera and win the hunt. Aphrodite was one of the gods that fell under Strife's spell and aided in the attack on Metropolis. She flirted with Hal Jordan in Centennial Park which in turn set off Star Sapphire.

Sapphire captured her with a clam construct and declared all's fair in love and war. Sapphired held Janus, Aphrodite, and Demeter in a giant hand construct while the other Supers went after Ares and Strife. After the battle ended and everyone went back to normal, Aphrodite went back to Olympus.
