Alpha Numeric is an infamous code breaker who was rarely seen in public. He was chosen to compete in the pilot of the TechTalkTV show. He believed technology was a means for international and interplanetary exchange of information. After the first round, a series of trivia questions, finished, Alpha came in second and was only half a point behind Batgirl. In the second round, Alpha was paired up with Dr. Eloise Lee. They came up with an ingenius code to assist in streamlining credit applications. After Batgirl was declared the champion, Alpha cryptically stated, "You won -- this time."
