Robin is the son of Batman and grandson of Ra's al Ghul. From a young age, he was raised by his grandfather's League of Assassins and trained by the fiercest warriors. He later joined Batman and became his partner, Robin. One night, Wonder Woman requested back up from Batgirl to deal with Shadow Demons but she was busy babysitting Robin. He got her attention again by throwing a Batarang at her head. Robin found being babysat insulting and repeated he was the heir to Batman and Ra's al Ghul's grandson. Batgirl snapped she didn't have time to waste on him. She tried to apologize but Robin went to sleep. Just as Batgirl stepped out, two Shadow Demons kidnapped Robin and left a note demanding to be left alone or else. Robin awoke tied up in a warehouse. He deduced the creatures used magic to keep him asleep. As soon as they turned their backs, Robin untied himself. He suggested a bowline or half hitch instead of a basic knot. They tied him up again. Robin was pleased and wanted to discuss them changing their appearances.
The creatures put him to sleep. Batgirl traced some dirt infused with electrical energy to a warehouse and found Robin. Robin was already free and dispatched the creatures. They were left tied up and hanging from the ceiling. She apologized to Robin and acknowledged him as a friend. Robin decided to allow her to tuck him in but wouldn't promise he would go to sleep.
