Maxima is a student at Korugar Academy. Blackfire and some of her classmates from Korugar were invited to a dance at Super Hero High inspired by the Great Dance of Tamaran. Maxima flew around and fired eye lasers but was eventally defeated along with her classmates.
(Novels only) Maxima is a student at Interstellar Magnet. She participated in the 100th Annual Super Triathlon. The first part of the A/P Test, the earth challenge, involving moving a molehill from point A to point B. Maxima pushed her team's molehill but it fell apart and dirt scattered everywhere. With her team in third place, Maxima was noticeably glum. During the burlap sack race, she and her three teammates tumbled off the edge of the cliff, embarrassing and disqualifying themselves.
