Heat Wave is a student at CAD Academy and uses a flame thrower to generate blasts of intense heat. He often acts like he is a big deal. The trio hassled Steve Trevor to the point that Wonder Woman used her Lasso of Truth on them and made them confess their greatest fears. Heat Wave revealed he was afraid spiders would lay eggs in his ears while he was asleep. Heat Wave was on CAD's team for the 100th Annual Super Triathlon. During a game of dodgeball using cannonballs, he hit Kanjar Ro, team captain of Interstellar Magnet, so hard he had to be carried away on a stretcher.
