The Portal Coffee Shop is an old dive coffee shop located near the Metropolis Docks. According to Harley Quinn, it's old, grimy, gross, and totally disgusting as well. The Portal operates on its own set of rules. Anything lost there goes to the prize bin. Harley has performed at the Portal's open-mic night. On a Friday afternoon, Etrigan became alarmed when June Moone held a suprise birthday party for him. Moone's mass invitation alerted Trigon to his location. Etrigan took a costume from the Theater Department and broke into the Batjet with an Ultimate Unlocker potion. He was eventually captured and dragged into the Portal Coffee Shop to be taken back to the Underworld. The Batjet was left at the Portal and went to the prize bin. Later that day, the Portal hosted a Battle of the Bands! competition and offered the Batjet as the grand prize. Supergirl, Miss Martian, and Beast Boy went to the Portal during their search of Metropolis for the Batjet. The bouncer mistook them for another entry and pointed them to the entrance for the bands.
Supergirl played along. The trio entered and met the other two competitors, the Bad Banshees and the Birds of Prey. The Bad Banshees were Silver Banshee, Gizmo, and Jinx from Super Hero High School. The Birds of Prey were Black Canary, Magpie, and Black Condor. The Battle soon erupted into an actual battle. Supergirl hailed Wonder Woman on her communication bracelet for help. Wonder Woman, Poison Ivy, Batgirl, Harley Quinn, Katana, Hawkgirl, The Flash, and Bumblebee raced to the Portal. Wonder Woman tackled Silver Banshee through a brick wall and discovered a portal to the Underworld, accounting for the shop's name and abundance of demon patrons. Batgirl confirmed the presence of sulfur just like when she invesigated Etrigan's classroom. Banshee informed Batgirl the Batjet was outside in the parking lot. She ran outside and watched the Birds of Prey take the Batjet on a joyride.
The Super Hero High students split into two teams. Batgirl, Supergirl, Ivy, Hawkgirl, and Flash left the Portal to go after the Batjet while Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn, Miss Martian, Katana, Beast Boy, and Bumblebee went into the portal. They found Professor Etrigan but were imprisoned by Trigon, ruler of the Underworld. Miss Martian managed to evade capture because she got scared and went invisible when Trigon appeared. She figured out a set of stones and freed everyone. They ran back to the portal with Trigon's demons in pursuit. One closed the portal but everyone managed to go through just in time. Etrigan thanked Wonder Woman then they returned to Super Hero High.
