Around the time Batgirl got Hero of the Month, the Metropolis Museum of Art opened a new Art of Archery exhibit. When Katana and Batgirl's cake went missing, Arrowette suggested she got sidetracked at the museum. Several weeks later, Lion-Mane came up with a plan to steal a priceless jeweled lion statue worth millions on the day before the exhibit opened. He released all the animals from the Metropolis Zoo's temporary preserve behind Capes & Cowls Cafe as a distraction. Batgirl located him in the storage room. Hawkgirl took the north hallway while the other supers took the stairs and employee elevators. Harley mistook Lion-Mane at first then slammed his foot with her mallet. His scream alerted the other supers and he was soon captured.
