Apokolips is a planet of darkness and fire. Years ago, Darkseid, the ruler of Apokolips hijacked the Boom Tubes on Earth and brought his army. The heroes of Earth nearly lost but managed to defeat him and stop the invasion. A new safety protocol was put into place and only Principal Waller of Super Hero High School had access to Boom Tubes. Apokolips remained one of the worlds accessible by one of the Tubes. The Female Furies continued to engage in combat practice (and avoiding the Abyss of Anguish) for the day they would invade Earth in Darkseid's name. Granny Goodness tricked Supergirl into gaining her access to the room. Granny opened the tube to Apokolips and the Female Furies crossed over to Earth. Granny planned to use the Amethyst to boost her powers and the power of a Mother Box to brainwash the students of Super Hero High. They would help pave the way for Darkseid's forces. Supergirl and Batgirl saved the day and prevented Granny's plans. After Big Barda reformed, she was ousted from Apokolips.
Late into the summer, Lashina was able to break out the remaining Furies and they returned home to Apokolips.
