Super Hero High School owns a time machine that looks like a standard yellow school bus and uses it for field trips. Rule number one is no one is allowed to leave the bus, Rule number two is to take nor leave anything, and Rule number three is to alert the driver if any time alteration is suspected. A Non-Interference Shield is activated and envelops the bus, protecting against interference with the past and changing the future. For an Intro to Prehistory field trip, Liberty Belle used the time machine to take her class to the Jurassic Era. A herd of Allosauruses charged towards the bus. Batgirl used her evasive maneuvering skills to drive the bus to safety but a Diplodocus' tail smashed the bus in half then batted the front half across the jungle with Batgirl, Harley, and Liberty Belle inside. The others awaited their return. Liberty Belle, the only one present who knew who to operate the time machine, was carried off by a Pterodactyl. The others were forced to abandon the back of the bus when an Allosaurus attacked.

Batgirl inspected the front half and determined the damage done was only cosmetic. She gathered wood and vines and fabricated a new back end and rear tires. They drove around and found one of Liberty Belle's gloves. After scaling a tree, they found Liberty in a Pterodactyl nest. Liberty took the wheel again and they found the other girls. Just as everyone but Beast Boy boarded, a flock of Pterodactyls arrived in search of an egg taken by Harley. Liberty Belle set the Time Machine to the future and waited for it to power up. The girls and Beast Boy fought off the Pterodactyles then reboarded the bus. They successfully returned to the present but something was different... the timeline was changed and the school was run by Vandal Savage like a dictator. Batgirl and Harley checked on the bus while the others looked for Liberty Belle. Batgirl determined there was a leak in the Chronol-Gel Tube. They went to the Mechanics, Robotics, and Automotive Workshop and locked themselves in the garage. Batgirl was unable to completely fix the problem before Harley pushed a button and they ended up in the year 2150 when Metropolis lay in ruins.

Batgirl theorized the self-driving mode was broken. Without Liberty Belle's precision driving skills, Batgirl and Harley jumped to random points in history and even inspired a Wyandot myth referred to as "The Two." While the supers battled Savage's faculty, Liberty Belle returned to the bus and went to work on the wiring. Katana and Wildcat's battle got too close for her and she yelled out to them to watch the paint job. With Savage temporarily knocked out, the supers returned to the Time Machine with the newly hatched pterodactyl infant. Wonder Woman said her goodbyes to Bumblebee. Liberty Belle teleported the bus back to the Jurassic Era but they landed on the edge of a cliff. Supergirl caught the bus. Once Batgirl and Harley returned Bitey to its nest, they returned to the present. However, now Lucius Fox was the principal. Batgirl asked Harley to come with her on the bus to do one last thing. They checked on Amelia Earhart then Emily Dickinson but history was fine. They determined they had to go to June 15 in the 1980s and save Waller from Solomon Grundy. They took the bus back to the present and everything was back to normal.
