The De-Trancer is a device assembled by Barbara Gordon to neutralize the brainwashing frequency emitted by Granny Goodness' Mother Box. Gordon was still in need of a crystal to conduct the energy. Supergirl offered the Kryptonian crystal good luck charm off her necklace. Gordon instructed Supergirl to point the device at a super then simply push the button. She convinced Gordon to suit up and come with her. As Batgirl, Gordon realized detrancing supers one by one wouldn't work and they would be quickly swarmed. Batgirl decided to take a page from Granny Goodness and plug the De-Trancer into the Amethyst. The Fury Artemiz attempted to shoot Batgirl down as she ascended the tower but Vice Principal Grodd jumped out of his office and took an arrow for her. Batgirl planted the De-Tracer on the Mother Box already planted on the Amethyst. Everyone was instantly released from Granny's trance.
