Perry is a Parademon creature from the planet Apokolips, mascot of Apokolips Magnet, and was secretly kept as a pet by Granny Goodness at Super Hero High School. Three weeks before Supergirl joined Super Hero High, Granny began sending Perry to breach the doors to the room that housed Boom Tubes. It was unable to break the super proof steel doors at every attempt, triggered the security alarm, and forced to flee into the ventilation system. Granny tricked Supergirl into breaking the doors open so she could run away to Korugar Academy after making mistakes responding to a Save the Day alarm. Perry chomped on the security console and killed the alarm while Granny opened a tube to her home planet Apokolips. The Female Furies emerged from the tube. Granny made her move to take the power of the Amethyst. Perry planted a Mother Box on the base of the Amethyst which powered up Granny and the Furies. Supergirl and Batgirl mounted a counterattack and freed the other students from Granny's hypnosis.

Wonder Woman lassoed Perry and tossed him but he split into into a swarm of tiny duplicates. Fortunately, they were clumsy and bumped into each other. After Granny was defeated, the Perry duplicates were rounded up and stuffed into a cage. Gorilla Grodd tossed the Perry duplicates after throwing Granny and the Furies into a tube destined for the Belle Reve Penitentiary and Juvenile Detention Center.

Just before shop Mid-Terms at Super Hero High, Perry was abandoned by Granny after his left ear was injured. Scared and alone, Perry triggered alarms in Metropolis. Batgirl, Lady Shiva, and Big Barda set out in the Mobile HQ. Barda recognized him and didn't believe he was a threat. The others throught it was part of a trap set by Granny. Perry noticed them. It snapped off a light pole and threw it at the Mobile HQ but the force field activated and it bounced off. Perry went on the move. They followed from a safe distance. Shiva put on the overhead gauntlet above the front passenger seat and used a giant mechanical arm to grab a senior citizen crossing the street and placed him on the sidewalk before Perry ran into him. Perry stopped, turned, grabbed a manhole cover and tossed it. It bounced off the field. He grabbed it happily. The force field was down to ten percent. Batgirl thought he was trying to wear the field down. Lady Shiva pushed a button on the front panel and a turrent appeared from the right headlight. It vaporized the manhole cover to Perry's disappointment.

Shiva pressed another button. The front emblem lifted up and a cannon fired a net and captured Perry. He whined in fear. Barda ran out and promised Perry they were going to help him. Barda took him on as her pet and he was outfitted with a cone around his neck. Barda played a round of fetch with him just outside of Super Hero High. Shiva still had her reservations but Barda reminded her everyone deserved a second chance. Perry returned with a tree instead of the stick. During an investigation of a Save the Day alarm, Hawkgirl admitted if they didn't know the culprit was a Kryptonian she would have suspected a Parademon. Perry happened to be across the street at a hydrant, shook its head, and denied any involvement in the incident.
