Frankie is a potted plant brought to life by Poison Ivy on a dark and stormy night in Super Hero High's greenhouse. It immediately imprinted on Ivy and behaved like a puppy. Frankie followed her around school but began to display overly protective traits. After Ivy and Starfire bumped into each other by mistake, Frankie jumped her. After Steve Trevor got Ivy's order wrong, it jumped on his face. Frankie also got bigger and bigger, finally reaching monster size. Harley Quinn, Katana, Lady Shiva, Star Sapphire, Batgirl, Beast Boy, and Wonder Woman gathered to stop it. Ivy appeared and begged them to hold their fire. She insisted he wasn't evil, he was just born that way. She got an idea and whispered something to Katana. Katana was intrigued and sliced Frankie until only his original form remained. Ivy checked and he was back to acting like a puppy.
