Dinosaurs, Greek for "terrible lizard," are prehistoric creatures. Among other things, Mary Anning discovered the first Ichthyosaur. Palentology was even Barbara Gordon's first foray into detective work. She became a know-it-all of dinosaurs. Harley Quinn shared the same passion for dinosaurs. Liberty Belle took her Intro to Prehistory class to the Jurassic Era in the school's Time Machine. They observed Stegosaurus, a Diplodocus, and a pack of Allosauruses. The Allosauruses charged towards the time machine. Batgirl took the wheel and drove to safety but a Diplodocus accidentally smashed the bus in half with its tail then knocked the front half across the jungle then a Pterodactyl carried Liberty Belle away. An Allosaurus caught up and attacked the back half, forcing the students to abandon it. Beast Boy took the form of a brachiosaurus and tried to blend in. However, a Stegosaurus didn't take kindly to him. Beast Boy took the form of a Stegosaurus and it bowed its head to him. Soon, all the nearby dinosaurs gathered and listened to Beast Boy's speech.
Eager to one up Batgirl for once, Harley Quinn placed a Pterodactyl egg in her backpack with the intent to keep the hatchling as a pet. The mother Pterodactyl returned and noticed an egg was missing. She screamed and a flock of Pterodactyls took off and found the Super Hero High School time machine bus. The girls fought off the Pterodactyls. Beast Boy, as a dinosaur, guided the other dinosaurs into fighting the Pterodactyls. In an altered present, Harley Quinn eventually found her missing backpack but the egg she stole hatched. She discovered the Pterodactyl infant in the cafeteria and named it Bitey McPuddin' Face. The two quickly bonded and saved Batgirl from Principal Vandal Savage. The supers returned to the Time Machine and Liberty Belle teleported it back to the Jurassic Era. Harley and Batgirl returned Bitey to its nest. Batgirl and Harley mended fences about some harsh words said earlier and observed Bitey's reunion with its mother.
