Wade is a student at Dakota Union High School and leader of a local gang. He is a friend of Virgil Hawkins and admires his smarts and sense of humor. However, Wade became concerned when Hawkins was targeted by Francis Stone, a gang rival, and convinced Hawkins to join his crew. He summoned Hawkins to the Gate 10 dockyards where several gangs were going to fight. Wade armed him with a handgun but he was never seen again after the Big Bang.
