Hayden Sloane is a top businessman in Gotham City, dealing with securities. Sloane is acquainted with fellow socialites, Bruce Wayne and Veronica Vreeland. While attending Vreeland's return from South America party, Sloane was many to receive a Worry Man gift. The dolls turned out to be rigged by Mad Hatter and Sloane found himself in dire straits. After the Hatter was exposed, Sloane and the other victims were exonerated.
