Professor Felix is a volcanologist and often moves his children from place to place. They were briefly on Raknaveek Island, studying an active volcano. He was unaware that his children had found an amnesiac Metallo. Superman and Lois Lane's arrival seemed to signal the eruption of the volcano. Felix, his family and his crew were able to escape harm.
