The Groote's are an upper middle class family in Gotham City. Though it isn't known what they do, they also have a son, Howard. They once went on a European vacation to cap off in Madrid, Spain. It was cut short when Howard Groote maxed out their credit cards and forced them return home only to see their house blown up.
