Dr. Harris is a lead physician at a local Dakota City medical clinic. During an appointment with Virgil Hawkins, Harris was concerned when Hawkins wanted the visit to be only between them and not Hawkins' father. Nonetheless, when the bloodwork was analyzed, Harris reported to Hawkins that he was perfectly fine except for a high electrolyte count. Months later, Harris' staff received a metahuman patient, Ferret. Ferret was infected with Joker Toxin. After sedation appeared to stabilize Ferret, Harris ordered his team to continue to monitor his vitals. Over the years, Harris continued to receive human and metahuman patients.
