Dr. Banjahri was a palentologist at the Gotham Natural History Museum. He made a startling breakthrough, recovering dinosaur DNA. Banjahri became a target of the crime cult, Kobra. Their aim was to start a chain reaction to raise the planet's temperature and splice themselves to create a new dominant lifeform. Banjahri happened to brush past Terry McGinnis while he was being pursued. Banjahri was injected with a serum and rendered unconscious while the Kobra agents stole the dinosaur sample.
